Just looked at their schedule

4 of their next 5 on the road. The 4 road games are against Dallas, Minnesota, Green Bay, and Houston

If I am judging based on schedules, Minny should now be favorites

Maybe at home they will be, will be close. Lions still strong favorites to win the division though.

I was more talking about to win the division. I really like their schedule
Yeah well Lions still string favorites to win the division. Long season though.

That's why I'm putting in my bet tomorrow for the Vikings lol

Need Detroit to win this one though. Odds going to change big time if they lose this game

I like what I’ve seen from Seattle. We joke about them winning that division but the odds may be worth a look.

The defense is a huge concern for me. Detroit is getting whatever they want. This is the first real offense they played too but the offensive talent is there. Damn good RB in Walker and a nice trio at WR

Not much of an athlete but he turned himself into a great ball player with sheer determination. It’s a shame how it all went down, he was on my team but I still can’t argue they did the wrong thing by keeping him out of the hof. They will put him in now in a couple years.

Which is ridiculous IMO. He should've been admitted during his lifetime.

The whole fn thing

Based on beating a Seattle team missing their entire defensive line? The mighty Rams pushed them to OT and they lost to Baker. I'm not impressed yet. The secondary additions haven't proven to be improvements yet.

He violated the one rule you can’t violate, the unpardonable sin.

^^^This^^^

It calls into question the integrity of the game. Can't have that. With as many people as there are out there that cry about sports being "fixed/rigged"...they can't allow anything that feeds that narrative. Especially baseball which lags behind the NFL and NBA in viewership and popularity.

I have no problem if they want to admit him now since his lifetime ban is technically over. They should let him in based on what he did as a player, but the gambling as a manager and the lifetime ban should be mentioned as well.

Betting on his own team to win? If he could truly control that, he would've been an undefeated manager.

Regardless, they kicked him out, could no longer be employed. Shouldn't keep him out of the HOF as a player.

As long as Ty Cobb is in the HOF, any arguments to keep others out are shaky.

I agree he has to go in, it’s not a hof without him.

The difference is that while Ty Cobb was a racist asshole and generally a shit human, he didn't do anything that could directly affect the integrity of the game. If we used someone being a shit human as criteria to not allow them into the HoF, we'd probably lose close to half of all HoFers across all sports, maybe more.
