Oof. Although Bama hasn’t been known to produce star quality QB’s for awhile now. Not since…idk Stabler I guess? Lol

Bama QB's can be a bit of fools gold. They'd probably be 3 star level guys if they weren't playing for Bama, but there is so much talent around them that it makes them look better than they are. They always have clean pockets to throw from and wide open receivers to throw to. Makes them seem elite.

Then they get to the NFL and struggle because the pocket isn't as clean, the receivers aren't wide open and they don't know how to "theow a guy open".

Yeah, shows how important QB development/coaching is for the guys that don’t naturally “have it” which is the majority of the guys drafted.

Feel bad sometimes for the QBs that are drafted super early for a team that is definitely not ready to start a rookie QB but get started anyway.

But them’s the breaks in the NFL with struggling teams that so badly need a change they’ll try anything to win now regardless of outcome.

I mean mac Jones was a 3 star and arguably should’ve won the Heisman

Bryce young was a 5 star even if he committed to the moon

Tua was a 4 star iirc who lived up to the hype

I forget what hurts was. But he performed and made the cfp at 2 schools and was a Heisman finalist

College and the nfl are just a little different

Also some guys just get better

Josh Allen couldn’t complete passes against d2 defenses in college

It may simply be that he's not ready to start yet. Not every high draft pick is ready to start right away. Not saying that he's not going to be a bust. Just a little early to decide that.
That should've been decided last year.

How many QB prospects can you name that got benched after starting their entire rookie year that didn't wash out?

What exactly does changing to Dalton do for the franchise? Make them lose by a little bit less? The Panthers are likely the worst team in the league with Bryce or Dalton.

The Panthers need to be retracted, horrible organization.

I guess the coach wants to try and keep his job. His owner is bat shit crazy and unpredictable.

ESPN got something with this mlb squeeze play which is basically a 3.5 hour mlb edition of red zone channel. Should look into making this a weekly thing next season

Hill played more snaps than Derrick Henry in both games so far.....that doesn't make sense

Henry avg 15 carries through 2 games doesn't make sense either

He old, lol.

Just wait until Keaton Mitchell returns (although who knows when that will be).

Ravens aren’t going to burn him out, they know how valuable he can be in the playoffs. They have to focus on getting there at this point though.

If his job is in jeopardy after 2 weeks, he chose poorly when he signed there. Staying OC with the Bucs would've been a safer bet.
I don’t disagree. That was an unwinnable situation. But that’s what this is about. He doesn’t think he can win with Bryce Young.
