Made the playoffs last year after starting 3-6, but 0-2 with all these injuries is looking like a worse situation. They at least get LT Alaric Jackson back this week from suspension, maybe that will stabilize the line a bit.

I’m confused why he is so invested for a guy who is now in his 2nd season off the raiders. I used to at it with wiggy all the time about whiteside vs Tristan but soon as Whiteside left Miami that basically ended that debate

I have Brooks on a team as well but my league only allows 2 IR spots and I currently have him and Chubb there also have McCaffrey. I will probably just drop Brooks because that Carolina team looks rough anyway. I won’t sweat doing it.

I have a similar decision to make in a league where we actually have 3, but I have Brooks, Keaton Mitchell and Njoku there (with AJ and Kupp eligible soon). I'll probably drop Keaton to open one spot.

Rams will trade either or both of Jimmy G and Stetson Bennett for him as long as they are making bad decisions lol...

In fairness, Carolina is a dumpster fire for young QB's. Kind of like the NY Jets. The last good youngster in NY was Chad Pennnington and Mark Sanchez. And in The Sanchize's case it was because of a good defense and running game really.

Maybe Bryce just needs a change of scenery? Sam Darnold went to SF (after also starting in NY) and worked with Shanny and he looks like he might have revived his career in Minnnesota.

Geno is another QB who started in NY and revived his career after spending time on the bench as a backup.

And Bryce is a lot younger than any of those other signal callers. He barely got a cup of coffee in Carolina.

It may simply be that he's not ready to start yet. Not every high draft pick is ready to start right away. Not saying that he's not going to be a bust. Just a little early to decide that.

Maybe. Most of the success that a young QB has depends on the situation they were drafted into.

Sam Darnold went from one QB wasteland (Jets) to another (Panthers) and looked like he was on the way out of the league...then he spends a season on the Niners bench but being coached by someone who knows how to coach. Now he's in Minny and, at least so far, he's looking like an actual NFL QB.

Similar with Mayfield who appears to have found himself a home in Tampa.
