Just use some self control and restraint.
That may or may not be below the belt....LOL.You know he's a Philly fan, right?
Let’s do the math. Say we put $50 each on these 3 teams to win the natty. That’s $150 investment, the most we can lose. If any of the bets were to hit we are going to win either $3,000, $3,750 or $12,500.
So if any of those 3 teams win the conference we have a minimum of $3,000 to play with. Bet against them in the quarters for $500, be a profit of $350 if they lose. Is they win we still have a possibility of winning $2500. Hedge again, etc. as long as one of the 3 win the conference its a profitable play.
Good strategy. Might be a great bet for the SEC@bksballer89 and gamblers, give me you thoughts on this strategy with the new playoff landscape. Let’s take the big 12 for instance where either Kstate, Utah and Okie St are expected to win the conference. Instead of trying to bet them to win the conference just bet them to win the national championship. KState for instance is 75-1. Okie St is 250-1. Where this new system comes into play is the conference winner gets a bye. So a live 75-1 ticket with only 8 teams remaining is very easily hedged into profit. Hopefully next year I can do this here in OK.
It just makes more sense than betting them to just win the conference at crappy odds.I like the way you think
The problem with that is you don’t get the great odds against winning the natty. I think this is kind of unique to the big 12 this year as there are 3 clear conference favorites to win the conference but all have good odds for the natty. Clemson might be another team worth looking at.Good strategy. Might be a great bet for the SEC
They probably will lose 5 games anyway. DJ isn’t not that goodFlorida state eliminated from the playoffs
