Pellet. It's a combo, so it can be used as a smoker, grill, etc. Apparently, it can even be used as a convection oven. I may never cook in the kitchen again. lol

I’ve had my pit boss for 7 years. This year I replaced the temp probe and the internal metal grates. Been a great grill.

This looks to be the best one I've had (most I've ever spent anyway lol). I've always had a grill and a smoker, but the grill is on it's last legs. Smoker is still good. Gonna clean it up and give it to a friend of mine who's been saying he wants to try using a smoker.

The smoke tubes actually help a decent amount of testing to use the pit boss as a smoker
