Good defensive centers will neutralize that skill.
It's different at the NBA level.
He'd be considered at least a moderately good defensive center in the 90s. Just on size alone. The ability to space and rotate is the major difference now. He's just too big to move quickly enough.
But as I've said if a team runs a deliberate enough offense to suit his skill set I think they could find it to be successful.
It will be interesting.
If i was like...the Nuggets it's a swing for the fence move I'd make. 10 minutes of Edey a game spelling Jokic and you would have 2 different centers to plan for.
If it busts it busts. Oh well.
