The Eagles lost to the Giants, Cardinals, and Drew Locke. A real playoff team would have hung 50 on that defense. Last night wasn’t about the NFC South.

1) Kansas City Chiefs-i know, the shock in here should have everyone in here at near unconscious levels...
2) Detroit Lions- it'd be nice to see these guys finally pick one up...
3) Houston Texans-Been "Dangerfields" pretty much since they entered the league. A title and they get some respect...
4) Green Bay Packers-Jordan Love finally GETTING some love. a title would be a pretty cool payoff...
5) San Francisco 49'ers- kinda the same story with Brock Purdy. Though I still think he's a system guy it'd be a cool "hard work pays off" story...
6) Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Cleveland would be pissed if Cheesecake Baker got one before they did...
7) Baltimore Ravens-no strong hatred towards this team. They're a respectable bunch...

But fuck 'em...

The protection of QBs combined with modern QBs running all the time really is an unfair situation for defenders. It's also officiated very unevenly (at least behind the line of scrimmage). Some QBs draw the penalty for negligible and/or timely contact, whereas others get lit up without a flag.

People had been complaining about the OT rules far earlier than that game. I think you were probably just too close to that discussion? The problem was 13 seconds, not the OT.

Personally, I think playoff OT should be a full 5 or 10 minute period, repeat until you have a non-tie result. I don't like anything remotely gimmicky.
