probably Mullens.

The Jets Pass D is legit.
I have to agree with this. Plus for whatever reason it seems like I get burned on Thursdays. Mondays are generally good but not Thursdays for whatever reason lol.

Think you guys are right. Worried about Mullens not starting or getting pulled. I have Geno in the back pocket if they announce a different starter.

It’s all about staying on the field for Mullens. Losing his TE won’t help but he still should put up some numbers. He is going to start, I’m confident in that. No one else of note available like Mayfield?

Not really. Definitely no Mayfield. Here’s what’s available on waivers

If Deshaun can manage anything it at least puts that trade in a better light relative to Wilson
He's younger so he should. I thought he was starting to get it together this season. He had a few games where he looked like Houston Watson. Or close to it.

Deshaun has his issues no doubt- but probably the most impressive win for any team this season is the Browns going into Baltimore - erasing a big deficit- and Watson going 14/14 in the second half to lead a comeback.

While I love what Flacco is doing- he has done it against the Texans without Stroud, the Bears, and the Jaguars. Now- the Texans won the previous week with Keenum- the Bears have been playing a lot better, and the Jags are good- but these are nothing like going into Baltimore and playing an amazing 2nd half to gut out a huge win.

Lloyd wrote an interesting column at TheAthletic yesterday basically saying there is no chance Flacco is on the Browns roster next year- not sure if that is def. true but he amde a good case for it.

That is true- Guardians have had more success than prob. 70% of the league in the last 30 years.

lol....he knows @dtgold88 he made a dumb comment and is getting angry about it and lashing out - just take the L at this point. Eagles payroll and injuries will likely not give them as good a position as they are in now for quite a while- but their 2 reclamation project corners are getting old and the pass rush is not the same.

Having a bad pass defense in the NFL makes it impossible to win through the playoffs--- almost as impossible as having the most injuries to key guys in the league like the Browns.

dude- if just if our 4th rounder Jones, Chubb and Delpit were good- id give them a shot---- but 2 bad tackles, 2 undrafted free agent safeties and no elite RB makes it tough when Cooper and Njoku are your only legit weapons left.
Because of the way the AFC is this year I give us a little more of a shot than you do....assuming we can get in as the 5 seed. could definitely use those starting safeties back for the playoffs, though.

seems like the OTs are doing OK when it comes to pass blocking. Run blocking might need to be better but would also help to have Chubb who hits holes quickly.

Colts have to win to stay in contention but yeah that’s tough. My main concern with Mullens is he might be on a short leash but I’d probably roll the dice with him. I would play Geno over any of those other guys. Good luck.
I actually think Bryce Young is a fairly interesting play against the Jags. The Jags defense has been poor lately- and Young has been playing better.

I would NOT play Geno against the Steelers.

Mullens, Flacco and Young are the 3 I would consider. Mullens has a lot of risk because of the situation- so it would depend on how the matchup looked.

Panthers have no incentive to lose since they dont keep their pick- and they want to get Young going.

Flacco is against a solid pass defense but the Browns running game has been terrible because of the injuries lately.

Honestly- I would prob go Flacco. He will probably get some short fields playing against Semian- and if he gets red zone opportunities he will prob get a couple TD's.

If you need a ton of points and are not worried about the risk- go Mullens.

I would under no circumstances go Geno in Pittsburgh.

honestly- I hated how Ford was hitting the line the other day- he looked tentative and slow. He def. has more game breaking ability then Hunt at this point- but if he doesnt get more aggressive you might as well just play Hunt.

Maybe they count the kicker? Was Hurst starting?

Lets see- 10 starters and 3 reserves

Offense:
1. Watson
2. Chubb
3. Conklin
4. Wills

those are the 4 starters on offense

Defense starters:
1. Walker
2. Delpit
3. Thornhill

???

Key "reserves"
1. Hard to call Okoronkwo a reserve but sure
2. Dawand jones- who was a starter for a while and playing great at RT- but not sure
3. McCleod- I really liked that pickup as the 3rd safety
4. Hurst- was playing really really well....

Phillips was a starting linebacker but hes been out all year. Obviously Hopkins at K and the punter are out.

Thats 13 guys I count who are out--- not counting Grant and DTR. I was bummed when Grant got hurt too- was interested to see if he could revive a really pathetic return game.

that d-line just comes at you in waves when healthy--- Garrett, Tomlinson, Zadarious are all generally regarded as pretty elite players. Okoronkwo was a guy they gave solid money to that they hoped was going to continue to get better and he really really has. Hurst and Harris and Elliot were all playing well at DT. Wright is developing. That is a helluva 8 man rotation for the front 4.

Its a historically good defense- but I just dont think the o-line and running game is good enough to take them deep
I'm sure they are counting the kicker/punter along with the 7 starters you mentioned. Not sure who the other is unless it's kick returner Grant? I'd say the reserves are among Okoronkwo, Hurst, McCleod and Jones. I guess maybe you got it with Phillips.

Again…I made no comparison at all. You’ve already lost (as per usual) when you have to put words in my mouth and create straw men. What actually happened is I read a casual who dismissed the importance of the slot corner position in the NFL in general and then didn’t even realize that the guy he was calling a nobody actually isn’t a nobody. It’s just that he doesn’t know him because again…a casual. These kinds of fans are all over sports. Browns at 10-5 and he shows up like he’s this big Browns fan with Lombardi level knowledge of the game. It’s Wiggy. He’s a fraud.

You made no comparison at all? sorry, Tommy, but I stopped after reading that early lie. You made another foolish comment.....had it easily refuted with facts....wont own the foolish comment. Pretty much your MO.

man.

the dissertation on the injuries is unnecessary lol.
Only because it's so obvious. Idea someone thinks a guy who is hobbled but played is the same as a guy who is out (and missed nearly the entire season) is next level.

lol right.

As i said- if your slot corner who is mediocre at best is the biggest injury your team has had- you are unfathomably lucky.
