as i said with the Eagles- Hurst still at a low cap number- amazing injury luck- your 2 old corners still somewhat hanging on before they crash and burn.....not sure the window is staying open much longer for the Eagles. Slay and Bradburry- their 2 reclamation project corners who they did a good job on for a while- fell off this year because they are getting old- and the pass rush was not nearly as good.

Fantasy football championship game help:

have a shit show at QB
1. Joe Flacco - Joe has been tearing it up. Browns struggling to run the ball. However, now they see the Jets. This is the first game where Flacco hasn’t seen a bottom 10 defense. Risky
2. Geno Smith - plays at home vs Steelers. Was meh last week against a poor pass D. Steelers D is pretty solid but Seattle always much better at home.
3. Nick Mullens - threw for 411 yards last week in the dome and he has a great matchup at home vs Green Bay whose defense has been bleeding points. The problem is that the Vikings are saying they could start any of their three QBs. Dobbs and Hall are both available on my waiver wire so as long as the starter is announced about an hour before the game, I can play whomever they choose. At the same time, you worry about the starter getting pulled if they’re this unsettled.

What would you do? I have an idea in my mind. Just wanted to spark some discussion so I can talk it through.
I don't think I'd go Flacco but not sure your comment is true. Jags and Houston are bottom 10 defenses (too lazy to look)? Bears have also been decent since their deal for Sweat. agree, though Jets are better and why I'd sit Flacco.

Think I'd lean Smith.

I'm in mine, too, and choice I need to think about is which 3 RBs among Pollard, Chandler, Taylor and Walker (K. williams a lock to play...likely Taylor, too)). Tired of getting burned by Pollard.

Deshaun has his issues no doubt- but probably the most impressive win for any team this season is the Browns going into Baltimore - erasing a big deficit- and Watson going 14/14 in the second half to lead a comeback.

While I love what Flacco is doing- he has done it against the Texans without Stroud, the Bears, and the Jaguars. Now- the Texans won the previous week with Keenum- the Bears have been playing a lot better, and the Jags are good- but these are nothing like going into Baltimore and playing an amazing 2nd half to gut out a huge win.

Lloyd wrote an interesting column at TheAthletic yesterday basically saying there is no chance Flacco is on the Browns roster next year- not sure if that is def. true but he amde a good case for it.
I'd say very small chance.....he'd have to really want to be here knowing he's the backup AND do it for less money. I think he'd rather do what he did this season and stay home until a good team needed him.

Because of the way the AFC is this year I give us a little more of a shot than you do....assuming we can get in as the 5 seed. could definitely use those starting safeties back for the playoffs, though.

seems like the OTs are doing OK when it comes to pass blocking. Run blocking might need to be better but would also help to have Chubb who hits holes quickly.
you gotta give them a shot with their defense- This is arguably one of the best defenses in the NFL over the last 20 some years if you look at the advanced stats- I dont know how much faith you can put into the advanced stats- but some actually have them as the highest rated defense in a long long time-----

its just the safeties and o-tackles that really worry me at this point.

because they have a historically good defense. The leagues best pass rusher and the leagues best corners.
I tried to reply but he seems to have wised up and took it down.

I mean, put us in the NFC and we'd have an even better chance to win a game...especially if we replaced one of their good teams.

I mean- we have already beat the 49'ers with PJ Walker. The Eagles are not scary at all. The Cowboys are totally hit or miss. Not afraid of the Bucs. Def. not afraid of the Lions- they could get multiple turnvoers vs. Goff.

Honestly- the 2 teams that I think would be the biggest challenge to the Browns in the entire NFL are the Bills and Ravens. Schwartz is inside Shanahan's head.

Can't say I'm as high on us and low on Philly as you and think Philly takes that game, especially if in Philly, under current circumstances.

agree with other picks but I'd say definitely KC.

Philly has played like crap lately. The Giants and Tyrod just took them to the wire. Their pass defense is one of the worst in the NFL this year. We matchup really well against them.

I think Flacco would be able to put up points- and I think the defense would do enough against the midget. This isn't Hurts picking apart a zone- it would be a rush on his ass and having to make on point throws against elite corners in man coverage.

Slay is 35 years old- its amazing he is still upright. Bradberry is only 30 but he has lost a step and their rush isn't nearly what it was last year.

all fair....but we also got taken to the wire at home by the Bears.
