What is really wild about benching RW is the Broncos still have a shot at the playoffs......even if it is a longshot. They have not been eliminated.

They have a very winnable game vs the Chargers on Sunday.
You need to take this comment out of the Cleveland Browns thread here

OK...but he's playing really well and probably better than Mariota has in a long time.
Really has nothing to do with my statement on Mariota. Flacco is playing amazing. That’s not evidence of a plan (which was what the conversation was about) though. In the same position, the Eagles have a legit back up in place because it’s an organizational priority.
doesn't change the fact he's our 4th QB and to compare apples to apples you need to use the 4th QB option for Philly. Or how about the 3rd?
I am comparing apples to apples when I compare the way two franchises handle injuries and depth. Like all NFL teams, the Eagles have gotten their ass kicked at LB and S this year due to injury and poor off season decision making. Eagles fans aren’t crying about injuries at those positions. They’re critical of the plan at those positions for a team that was built to contend. The comment I made to Wiggy that you jumped in on was all about the way the two organizations operate. Injuries are a way of life in the NFL. Your team has risen to that challenge for sure. But the fans are crying poverty and using it as an excuse to explain away a top 3 season in the history of the expansion franchise era in Cleveland.

He might if they call and say they think he's better and want him to play....which is not farfetched.
Zero evidence to back up that supposition based on the last few stops for Flacco prior to retirement. You’re not allowed to play hindsight here. Flacco was signed out of desperation.

The rookie has actually played pretty well other than 1 game but never mind that.

FYI, the backup they "gave away" returned a 5th round pick, Tommy (another lie by you). Team who acquired him dumped him for a 6th. Team before us did, in fact, give him away. Current team has him down to the 3rd string guy.

add another lie for you and more baseless opinions.
I didn’t say gave away. Read it again. I said traded away. I know he was traded away for a pick.

OK...is banged up but playing the same as out for the year? In some cases nearly the entire year.

Browns also have had some banged up but playing...or worse, banged up but missed a game or multiple game. Like Bitonio, Ward, Newsome, Pocic. all starters but not included on his Browns list.
I really don’t give a fuck. What makes me different from Wiggy is that I know what I don’t know. I’m not well versed on the depth of the Browns secondary. I made no comparison in the post you quoted. I merely called out (among other poorly constructed statements about my team’s injuries and personnel) his comment that a team losing their slot corner is no big deal just because he didn’t know how well respected the player is around the league at his position. He has no idea the difference in slot production from the opponent when he is in vs when he is out of the Eagles lineup. He doesn’t know anything about the depth behind Maddox on the roster either. He just declared the loss no big deal. I picked the most absurd thing he said and used that to remind him that he’s a fraud and a poser and he hasn’t earned the right to talk football with me. You should consider yourself blessed that I still grant you the honor.

He's smacking you around with facts, too vs. your baseless opinions.

FYI, it's easy to ignore if tagged. Just need a little self control.
My intent isn’t really to ignore him, RainMan, rather the intent is to mock him and let him know that we all see that he is a poser.

Mariota is not good and debatable if he'd even be better than DTR who has been fine for a backup in all but 1 game. He clearly looked better to them than Dobbs so they made him the #2....Seems MN thought the same of Dobbs. If anyone should have gotten Flacco it was them.

You then made a foolish comment to wiggy and of course will not own how foolish it was.....comparing guys who missed some time with guys who are out for the season. Many for nearly the entire season.

Yeah that's why I said might and at best not farfetched.

Should I lie and/or offer opinion as fact like you, Tommy?

will take your word for it and not even check to see if you simply edited/changed your comment. Unlike you, though, if I make a mistake I'll simply own it. My apologies.

I think that drops you down to 2 lies. Congrats.

You were shown a list of Browns players and eagles players all out for the year and thought you needed to throw in some eagles players who were just banged up or missed some time for some reason.

I am blessed as you are free comic relief and I do appreciate you cannot stop lying, replying, etc. Tommy.

and to do this you need to lie and offer baseless opinions while he can easily refute your foolish comments with facts, Tommy?

My favorite might be thinking a guy who is hobbled but plays can be compared to a guy out for the season.

You keep saying this about Jok and Takitaki but they both played over 11 games man.

The rush can prove more effective that half second qbs have to take.

I'd obviously take the group this year over last but Woods was a horrendous fit.
I had been calling for Woods’ head for years now and I know you were onboard along with tons of other Browns fans. It’s night and day

They can’t take a chance on him getting hurt. They are planning to release him and save like $40 million

That matters, sure......but guessing a regular season game of the week in NFL likely gets a better rating than a game 7 in baseball. Maybe the NBA as well.

Does anybody watch baseball anymore?

Football is more popular than any other sport. Isn’t just because of gambling.

I can only get into baseball if the Guardians are doing well.

Completely different with NBA & NFL. I'll watch just about any game.

I agree with that.

Point being, it isn’t competitive balance that makes the NFL so popular.

There is a lot of reasons people watch.

More parity is just a small part of the appeal.

But 100% for sure if the NBA only played 20 regular season games, they would get much better ratings.

Because every one would have near playoff importance.
