Usually I lament that Baltimore is the second closest market to where I live.

I get all the NFC East and AFC North games.

Baltimore or Pittsburgh against the Browns is always annoying when that is the game they pick.

This one will be very good though. Looking forward to it.
I tend to get a lot of Baker Mayfield games here and of course all the Cowboy games. They have been doing a better job recently.

Marcus Mariota would likely be QB 1 on your team this year. Take away Swift and the Eagles are fine at RB with 3 solid backs. Take away the OTs…it’s already happened. The Eagles have the best OL coach in the NFL. The Eagles won a Super Bowl with a back up QB and back up LT. The Browns win hypothetical nonsense games played in the minds of Browns fans.
best offensive line coach? LOL.

Bill Callahahan is generally regarded as possibly the best offensive line coach of all time

You need to update your file. Stoudtland is widely considered the best offensive line coach in football.

Eagles injured reserve:
1. Shaun Bradley- a depth LB
2. Zech McPhearson- a depth CB
3. Roderick Johnson- a depth OL that never played
4. Nakobe Dean- a bum linebacker
5. Justin Evans- a backup safety
6. Avonte Maddux- a depth corner thats been around a while but is not particularly good

that is it for the injured reserve for the Eagles. Not one significant guy.

1. Watson- was 5-1 as a starter- including a 4th qtr. comeback in Baltimore- before being hurt- a better win than any Eagles win.
2. Chubb- 2nd best back in football
3. Jack Conklin- top 10 RT in football
4. Jed Wills- mediocre starting LT
5. Dawand Jones- 4th round rookie that took a dump on TJ Watt when Jones replaced Conklin- only fell in the draft because of suspected maturity issues- get rid of Wills next year and start Jones at LT for the next decade.
6. Jason Phillips- starting linebacker lostin preseason.
7. Grant Delpit- former 2nd round safety turning into a star- just got a big contract extension before being out for the year
8. Jakeem Grant- signed to be their return guy- didnt make it out of preaseason.
9. Rodney McCleod- signed to be their 3rd safety- done
10. Maurice Hurst- rotation player on DL- done for the year
11. DTR- backup QB- done for the year

I was not impressed with the Eagles against the Giants. If there was even a modicum of eveness to the injuries it would not be close. Right now - even with all the injuries its a coin flip.

This is where I stopped reading. You’re a casual football fan. You don’t post much about the NFL at all. You just started posting about the NFL because the Browns are posting an all time level season for them at 10-5 and being a wild card team. Maddox is often banged up but when healthy he’s widely considered a top 3 slot corner in the NFL. You haven’t earned the right to talk football with me. You’re dismissed.

Cant believe our kicker and punter got hurt in the same week. the punter was playing well- but really- who cares--- Hopkins might be first team all pro this year- that hurts.

Anyone have any news on Hopkins? Do they think he can play in the final regular season game?

its the fact that you think a mediocre 3rd corner is a relevant injury shows you how lucky the Eagles have been injury wise.

You’re a dope. The slot corner spot on an NFL roster is tantamount to a starting position because of how much nickel gets played. Like I said, you don’t know what you’re talking about and you haven’t earned the right to talk football with me.

Dismissed.

when healthy- the EAgles do have a good defensive back field but its definitely not as good as the Browns. Same with d-lines.

it would be like if i whined about the Browns losing Cam Mitchel. yah- not ideal but gmafb. Now the fact that the Browns nickel corner is Greg Newsome- a former 1st rounder and very good corner- that would actually be a relevant loss- but there is not a team in the league that has the corner trio of the Browns.

however right now they are starting 2 undrafted rookies at safety since their top 3 safeties are hurt- 2 done for the year- the other missed the last few games- so not ideal.

Stop tagging me. I don’t give a fuck about any football opinion you maintain. You’re a front running causal and you don’t know anything about the sport

all though this year the Eagles pass D has been pretty shit. Slay- looked a lot better the last couple years when the Eagles d-line was better. Plus hes getting up there age wise. Bradberry kind of the same -

Eagles did a good job with both- both veteran that were drafted high- that underperformed and got better when going to Philly- but both are getting older- and when they get older and the d-line gets worse- you end up giving up 31 passing TDs which is just about worst in the league.

On the other hand- the Browns have not had to reclaim other guys failed picks- Ward, Emerosn and Newsome are all young- emerson prob. the best pick in the 3rd round in 2022. Honestly- prob. not 10 guys youd rather have in the entire draft.

the Broncos are benching Wilson. I wonder if that is his last game there.
I believe they can trade him this offseason and the cap penalty won’t be too bad but you need a replacement.

Strange bc he has really improved this season from last. With no other option, that doesn’t make sense. They gave up picks and players for Wilson and Payton. One year and that’s it? Seems strange

They didn't want to risk him getting hurt the last 2 games. He gets more money if he gets hurt.

I think Payton wants his own guy that can grown in the system.

Honestly- I think a lot of these coaches- Stefansk included- like guys who play under center and do not rely on free-wheeling.

I think Watson can be successful- but his whole career has basically been in shotgun- which totally negates the play action- and his best success is usually scrambling and hitting guys.

Wilson has always been small- and relied on athleticism and breaking the pocket. I dont think thats what Payton wants. Honestly- I dont think its what is ideal for our guy Stefanski either.

I think the big armed pocket QB that uses play action is more ideal-- obviously Payton made Brees work but that is obviously a big time outlier.
