How/when did the eagles defense get so bad? They were one of the best last season

Their secondary been sketchy the last month or so. Several games they could have lost that they pulled out.

Patty loses and he blames officials. Blames officials for making the right call.

I listened to his press conference. I believe he was truly just upset that it cost Kelce credit for a great play. He even mentioned that a win wasn’t guaranteed and for all we know it cost Josh Allen credit for what could have been a game winning drive. Never seen him that emotional, I expect the next time we hear him he will have it under control.

Yeah I get that but it is still a bad look. I never had a problem with him. Other players and teams have to dealt with more year after year. Mahomes is usually on the right side of the calls and things aren’t going his way for once.

Honestly, he is spoiled. He’s had a remarkable start to his career and always got the bang bang calls usually in crucial moments. Unfortunately, Toney was offsides and it was an easy call.

Garbage personnel in the middle of the field. Safety and LB aren’t good enough. Pass rush has underperformed. And recently with this run of like 11 straight possessions over the last 6 quarters giving up points you have to put blame on a defensive coordinator that can’t adjust. It’s those three things for me. I don’t think the schedule they’ve played recently helps, but that’s just an excuse.

their schedule has been extremely tough lately- but its probably a balance of that their defense was not as good as it looked to begin with since they have had a very easy schedule before the last few games.

Also- going deep in the playoffs can wear you down the subsequent year--- its getting late in a long 17 game schedule- they could be wearing down too.

some extremely easy games down the stretch will prob. help them get it together.

Did you see Myles after the game? He was pissed. He is getting the Shaq treatment. There were some egregious holds on him that were not called. I know there is a certain amount of holding that can be called on any play- but it was embarrassingly bad for the refs how much they let the Jaguars get away with on Garrett. Absolutely pathetic if you ask me.

I hope the Browns send a video of all the missed calls on Garrett to the NFL Headquarters because it was pathetic today.

At halftime they said that call was only made twice last year, once the year before. But it has been called 11 times this year so everyone knows it’s a point of emphasis. I don’t think Mahomes was saying he wasn’t offsides, he’s saying it’s just never called and doesn’t affect the game. Now he knows.

I only saw a handful of replays and it was bad. He got shoved in the back multiple times. In the past the Browns lose that game
