The Lions have played great but are they a true contender? The answer is no. Other than opening day they are beating up on the bad teams. They play their schedule but the point is if that is the top of the NFC…the NFC will not be a gauntlet this year

Neither Hurts nor Mahomes looked very good in that game. Offense seems down across the entire league. 6 guys threw at least 29 TD's last year. There might be 2-3 this year. More so then in a long time, I think just about any decent team could beat any decent team week in and week out. I think there will be a lot of unpredictability in the playoffs.
