I'd try Fournette before Cook I think. Cook has looked, well, cooked. At least with Fournette there's some mystery as to whether he has anything left.

Fournette should be good to go...just 27.

It's true he got off to a nice start. Last 4 they have certainly looked really similar though.....and Walker also has a couple GW drives added in.

Given the choice I'd take Dobbs though. But he's far from a sure thing to have been better than Walker's 2-1 record.

Washington might be in seller mode. Brissett would be a nice upgrade from Walker.

Washington selling off their backup QB would be a horrible decision. Howell has been sacked 41 times (2nd place is Jones with 28, albeit in 5 games, with Russ at 26 in 3rd).

I appreciate the Browns faith in Watson but he still had to have an entire season like the Titans game before I would've felt good rolling with a weak backup.

That's fair but most backups are pretty bad. And Watson was not going to be replaced due to performance, only injury (or performance due to injury).

You can say that about half the league probably. Look at the Rams with Rypien, the Giants with Devito, although they're both technically #3s.

Has there been any news at all about Stetson Bennett? His mysterious excused absence from the team continues...

I can see the Rams feeling more comfy with Stafford to go semi weak with Rypien than the Browns after what we saw from Deshaun last year

Taylor hurt now but he a solid backup as is Minshew. Heinicke is another solid backup. Just 3 off the top of my head.

Rypien was supposed to be the 3. I don't see the Rams winning any games if Rypien is starting.

Tyrod has a rib injury and was taken to the hospital yesterday. Horrible attrition day for QBs. Vikes will have to turn to Jaren Hall.

If someone like Brissett is available, his trade cost is shooting up through the roof right now.

I don't really see the need, certainly not over CB, LB and DT. Sure, Josh has most of their rushing TDs, but that's not something that's going to change (it's a necessary part of the offense and not always a called play). Maybe he pushes Murray to 3rd on the depth chart, but Cook is averaging 4.8 ypc on 13 rushes per game and is also the team's 4th leading receiver (rec and yardage) behind Diggs, Gabe and Kincaid.

Hopefully he's cheap enough to leave enough cap for more additions.
