True and if Walker was playing like Brock Purdy last year, or if they weren't in an SB window, I'd agree with sitting Watson the rest of the way. But, while Walker hasn't been that bad, he hasn't exactly shown that he's a guy who can get them to the SB.
Hasn't been that bad?

Exactly.....and I don't like ripping the kid as he is what he is and did make some nice plays yesterday. Also showed some toughness on some of his runs.

Needs to not fixate so much on Cooper on those shorter passes when he is well covered.

you would be on a losing streak if Watson hadn’t banged his head in the first quarter last week.
You are guessing as it was clear he couldn't throw and shoulder was still a major issue.

I was trying to be nice. lol
Props to your team for pulling it out. Was texting with a friend during game and he said no way fans will blame the coach for this one.

Clearly he does not know our fans (or many NFL fans). He's getting ripped. Guy puts a plan together where the O is on the field 36 minutes and with a practice squad QB have the lead at the 2 minute warning but it's his fault we lost?

Now I can agree I'd have run on the 3rd and 3 but no lock that works....then if Seattle scores it's "why weren't you more aggressive"?

Gotta hold D accountable too. Hold them to a FG I'd have liked our chances in OT.....and of course have to credit Seattle O.

And Walker is 5-4 as a starter? That goes to show starting record means jackshit.

6 TD's to 16 picks with a 60.3 PR. LOL.

they messed up not having a solid backup. No reason for that approach at all.
Can certainly make that case........but not easy to get the better backups (like Minshew, for instance) when he has no chance to start barring injury to the starter. Especially when that starter rarely gets hurt. Dobbs has had some moments but also been pretty bad at times. Like Walker.

Just so annoying knowing how good we could be with just decent QB play.....still a lot of games left. I'd love to get Brissett, but he's also made his share of game losing plays late.

Heck, Dobbs has played well for the most part with the Cardinals....surprisingly. He would have been an upgrade.
Maybe,.....but he's pretty similar to Walker. Made some nice plays and also looked awful.

I appreciate the Browns faith in Watson but he still had to have an entire season like the Titans game before I would've felt good rolling with a weak backup.

Yeah cheap and worth a shot. FA after this year

I'd try Fournette before Cook I think. Cook has looked, well, cooked. At least with Fournette there's some mystery as to whether he has anything left.

You can say that about half the league probably. Look at the Rams with Rypien, the Giants with Devito, although they're both technically #3s.

Has there been any news at all about Stetson Bennett? His mysterious excused absence from the team continues...
