You really don't want Allen getting hurt. The season would be over basically.

The adjustment they made in the Bucs game was to give Allen the freedom to run and the offense was much better. You can't take your best weapon and limit it and still expect the same results. Their apparent distrust in the tush push is ridiculous given the advantage Josh has in QB sneak situations.

If you look at most QB injuries, they happen in the pocket trying to elude the pass rush, even for running QBs. Sure, there is always the risk of non-contact injuries when cutting or a roughing penalty with or without a slide, but eliminating the run from dual threat QBs is shooting yourself in the foot. QBs are much more likely to get a leg twisted in the pocket than running the ball, given the protections for QBs these days.

Clearly, the Bills management thinks otherwise.

No, clearly the Bills management doesn't fully believe in Ty Johnson being the 3rd RB or relying too much on a 33 year old Latavius Murray who's averaging 3.6 ypc. Fournette is a Damian Harris injury replacement with the opportunity to overtake Murray. They don't want to lean on Cook as an every down back.

And I never said eliminate the run from Allen's game ...just think they brought Fournette in to get some goal line carries and reduce the risk of Allen getting hurt.

However, we shall see....

Seattle acquired Leonard Williams.

Holy shit @trojanfan12
Paid $10M and gave up a 2nd for a rental. He is 29 and hasn't played well this season.

That isn't ideal but I think he should be better in Seattle.

I mean, if anything, I'd look for someone better than Walker if Watson will be out a while.

Nice effort yesterday - and of course blame the coach guy will blame stefanski - but he's a big reason they lost that game. Just some bad reads.
Walker missed a lot of wide open guys. One was easy over the middle for Moore. Cost them 4 points.

You can't expect much out of a practice squad guys so it's whatever.

I put more blame on Berry for putting faith in DTR and Walker instead of having a real backup. That is where they went wrong

Heck, Dobbs has played well for the most part with the Cardinals....surprisingly. He would have been an upgrade.
Dobbs has been pretty bad too honestly but he is working with less in Zona

I wouldn’t do it without a backup with the Ravens, but I’m sure the Bengals pays more.

If I was to blame either it would be Berry for that.....but so far we have gone 2-2 in games with the backup QB, which is as good as should be expected.

I cannot believe the comments I have seen about Stefanski and blaming him for the loss....and only him. It's like some fans think Schwartz reads the comments and will kick their asses if they blame the D even a little.

Will say I was hoping for a run but Way they talk you'd also think no team has ever thrown a short, safe pass on 3rd and 3 with a backup and a lead. Hell, if memory serves KC was in that spot against us in AFCCG (only 3rd and 1) and they elected to throw and it worked. Game over.

Agree the team has done a great job without a lot of key pieces but I mean what if they had Brissett, for example, he knows the offense and is way better than Walker. It probably only gets them one more win realistically but still we would feel a lot more comfortable if Watson goes down again.

Ravens do have a tougher schedule going forward but they are playing well.
I wouldn't bet on Seattle winning that division but possible.
Buffalo is risky simply bc the Dolphins have an easy schedule and that will continue after the KC game. LV, NYJ, WAS, TEN, NYJ. Banking on Buffalo to play ridiculous and Miami to lose the final 3 and to KC.
Fine with Saints and Eagles.

Throwing money away. Seattle will lose 2 again to the Niners. They’re a fraud.

I'd feel more comfortable with Brissett but don't kid yourself...he made some maddening plays late in some games last year. Crucial INTs.

That said, if we had this defense last year I have to think he'd have been no worse than 6-5 or 7-4.

It's interesting in the NFC West. It should the Niners to lose...but with Purdy possibly leveling off...who knows?

The Seahawks don't believe in comfortable wins, so they can beat or lose to anyone.

The Rams just got stomped by Dallas.

I wouldn't bet on anything in that division. lol
