It's a pretty clear difference between a team putting a player on IR and them electing not to play after being medically cleared. that should be extremely evident.

Did MJ hurt his team after his "flu game"? Did Isiah hurt the Pistons on his sprained ankle? Since we brought up Burrow he played just fine last week. He fought through the injury.

As to JSN vs Bosa I respect Bosa for coming out and saying almost immediately he was done. JSN had us talking about it all year like a bunch of dopes. Just say you're done. I can at least respect that.
Only thing evident is you have an agenda and want to cry about another player you don't like. Many have tried to educate you on what it means to be medically cleared and you choose to ignore it. Just when I think you cannot get more irrational you want to compare a QB who couldn't throw to MJ with either the sniffles or a hangover? Stopped reading after that....but that was next level.

sack numbers down but overall pressure seems OK.....not like it was with Young and the Bosas. And overall, so far, the D has been more than solid.

They seem to have JT do a myriad of things besides rush and Sawyer isn't beating his guy like a Bosa or Young did. Now that I think on it...it's been forever since OSU asked much from its LBS pass rush wise. like...silver bullet days. So it's beating your man on DL

I think that's more as a design (which I don't agree with fwiw) than lack of execution.

the results on pass D is solid. But they will have to figure something out against Michigan etc.
assuming you mean the design being to not give up the big play I agree. I guess so far it's worked......and as mentioned really hard to get too worked up since D overall has been really good.

I have no clue what to expect against PSU and UM. Um has played pretty much all cream puffs. ended up pulling away but if memory serves BG gave them a game in the first half (like the far better maryland did with us). PSU hasn't really played anyone either. Did hang 31 on Iowa who usually has a tough D.

yes I think it is designed to bend not break

but you gotta be more aggressive against better teams

"Deshaun can't throw"

yeah. I think everyone here knows this....most also know the coach just should have said it was a group decision. are you thinking someone besides Deshaun should have known how his arm felt?

I did watch that game....and I've seen a number of other times where players were hurt but played (Watson is one of those). I've also seen a number of game time decisions where the player tried to give it a go and couldn't. you haven't?

I think just because a dude is playing a sport at the highest level possible doesn't mean he has some exceptional grasp on pain that the rest of us don't.

That's what I find hilarious about this take.

Deshaun at his less than best is the Browns best chance to win.

This is the point. After watching DTR play I don't know how anyone could make the argument Deshaun could hurt the team by playing in his current condition. If we had Jacoby? Sure...you can sell me. But dude. DTR ain't in the stratosphere of being ready for an NFL regular season game. You're better off Squadding him the rest of the year and trying PJ. It was THAT bad.
Here's the thing......these guys have been in this business a while and they really don't need to sell you. The coach, docs, trainers and Deshaun know more than you do. It's not "how does your arm feel......with DTR as the backup". They just ask him how it feels and they can also see for themselves how he is throwing. I get you want to believe you know how hurt he is or how much zip he has on the ball but you don't.

Take off the anti Deshaun blinders/agenda.

Now if you want to tell me we should have had a better backup? I can buy that.....but most guys willing to be a backup with no chance to play barring injury are not very good.

Have you put life savings yet on either the SF ML or the spread that is still only 1 score? LV must like to lose money.
The truth makes you angry. The Browns can’t compete with the 49ers.

oh lort. before Deshaun being a vagina gutted the team vs Baltimore they had a historic defense through 3 weeks. And that's not hyperbole.

The D said fuck it in week 4 and who can blame them.
I would if I thought that was true...but it wasn't. Just had a down game.

And they STILL only gave up 296 yards despite a complete dumpster trash offense after drive 1.
The O was on the field longer than the D. sorry, but I would not excuse the D because of the O. Were they awful? No but they were not good. Once Bmore started scoring seemed like they kept scoring until they decided not to.

Historic Ds don’t say fuck it. Haha. Go look at the numbers for the 1991 Eagles defense. That’s an historic defense and Randall Cunningham was knocked out for the season Week1. Cleveland doesn’t belong on the field with Niners.
I think it's kooky talk to think we don't belong with Watson playing but agree the D has a long way to go to be called historic and also agree they shouldn't give up because the O was not playing well......and don't think they did. Bmore just outplayed them.
