Yep.

A coach should know everything that is going on.
It’s also impossible for him to know 100% of what’s going on. At the same time, the head coach is always responsible when shit like this goes down in his program.

Put me in the column of if he didn’t know he should have known. It’s his program and when things like this happen, it’s still the head coach’s responsibility.

As you said in your other post, it's impossible to know everything that's going on.

However, the head coach still takes the fall.

Given the letter from the team, my guess is that the reassessment may be to try to determine where the actual truth is and if something did happen that the coach didn't know about, was it bad enough that he should lose his job over it?

The player was saying that the coach would often make the hand signal that went along with “running” the freshmen.

If that is true, then he can’t pretend like he didn’t know.

He could be fired either way.

But if he knew?

He 100% should be fired.

I agree. The rest of the team says it's not true though.

As always, the truth is likely somewhere in between. That's why I think that the reassessment may be to get to the actual truth and determine if he should be fired or not.

And yeah, it's entirely possible that once they get to the truth, they can still decide that even if things weren't as bad as the accusers claim, they're still bad enough to cost him his job.

Ftr, if they were as bad or even close and he didn't know about it, I would agree with his being fired if for no other reason than it makes one wonder how much control he has over his program.

I don't understand dudes wanting to sexually violate other men. weird shit. Hazing as a whole is pretty stupid except for the mild stuff you hear the nba guys do. In this day and age though...you gotta be smarter than that

lol

The Angels and Dodgers just had a 2 game series at Dodgers Stadium. I guess one of the games was Japanese Heritage Night and they had Rui Hachimura throw the first pitch.

Also, Dodgers fans actually cheered him instead of treating him like the enemy.

Yes I read it wrong. He is however the first in 50 years to steal all 3 with the same batter at the plate.

That kid's speed, combined with the throw-over limitations is going to really pump up his steal numbers.
