We were, but then you brought the owners into it.
Yes. NFL owners and specifically the Ravens in this case. They’re holding him hostage and yet they don’t believe he’s their QB based upon their lack of commitment to him.

He better be prepared to sit out. I don’t see anything happening. It’s possible I guess but not until after the draft.
I agree. He has no leverage by design.

He needs a team willing to give up 2 firsts to put the offer out there and force the Ravens' hand. Falcons or Raiders maybe?

Colts possibly, but I don’t think anyone is doing the Ravens work for them.

If the Panthers take Richardson, the Texans and Colts get the real top 2 QBs. Is anyone going to trade up with Arizona? Will be interesting.

Falcons seem like a great fit IMO. They've done similar with Vick in the past, just had a mostly running QB offense last year and already have potentially elite young targets at WR and TE. They would have to dump salary though. Nobody has the cap space to absorb Lamar's contract right now other than the Bears, which would be interesting. They could recoup picks pretty quickly if they moved Fields.

That price is falling as we speak. No one is giving up 2 1st's...at least I would be surprised at this point. They would be desperate

The Colts make the most sense. That team has been desperate for a QB since Luck. Traded for Wentz then Ryan, both awful contracts. They aren't get a top 2 QB at #4. They might not get the 3rd if a team trades up with Zona but either way it's the top 2 then the next tier in this draft.

Carolina and Houston are taking QB. Who else needs a QB?

Miami just picked up Tua's 5th year option.
New England? It doesn't seem like a BB move and Lamar doesn't seem like his type of QB..doesn't make sense.
Atlanta I believe said they were out on Lamar months ago.

Tennessee, Washington and Indy are the only teams that makes sense imo

Good for him but he’s going to get fucked over. The owners rig this game.

You and I just disagree on this one and obviously I'm not a Lamar guy anyway and am well aware i look semi ridiculous with this take because of Watson

But....all that said....Lamar would be a Raven today if 2 things were true

He had an agent

He didn't demand a fully guaranteed deal.
