Trust me, not just here. You should see my Facebook page...

I've honestly never seen more whining about a sporting event in my life firsthand.

I can only imagine their meltdown had they had something like the Miami Ohio State holding penalty happen to them. There may have been mass suicide.

They actually made another big one, but your meddling refs reversed another defensive TD.
In what world was that a catch? Better brush up on the rules my guy.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. But hey, I guess I'd be a little miffed if my "superior" offense was the least bit slowed down by a defense that had a bunch of rookies and 2nd year players on it...

Just sayin'...
They had a piece meal OL with three starters out on an already mediocre unit.

I wonder if Hurts will sign a team friendly deal

Control, two feet, turns up field. It's the seemingly undefinable "football move" that allows refs some wiggle room.
The nfl needs to totally redefine what a catch is, it’s the most indefensible rule in all of sports, especially around the goal line

Nope. He’s gonna be a $50 million dollar a year guy for 5-6 years with 2/3 being guaranteed money. My guess is 6 years 300 million and 200-220 being guaranteed.

What are you talking about? His shoulders are square to the line of scrimmage when he receives the pass. He can’t “turn up”?!?! There is no football move there. That’s been an incomplete pass for the last 6-7 seasons with the interpretation of catch rules. Your opinion is swayed by it being slowed down on replay.

Seems like they thought they did that a few years back. They simplified it by adding an undefinable "football move" into the discussion.

LOL. How can his shoulders be square to the line of scrimmage if he's catching a screen?

Fair enough but based on existing rules that’s clearly not a catch.

All I know is if you break the plane with the ball and 2 feet down it should be a td

They used replay to review, totally applicable.

@bksballer89 is this crying? I started running my mouth when the conversation turned to:
1. Defense of officials abandoning the standard they set earlier in the contest to ensure the Eagles didn’t see the ball again.
2. Fucking clowns trying to hype and credit a Chiefs defense that the Chiefs won despite of not because of.

Translation = "I'm crying because no one agrees with me."

My bad. His shoulders are squared to Hurts. He’s hit and ball is incomplete before he can even turn up as you’ve claimed. This is the best video because you can see it in real time. He never establishes possession for this to be ruled catch fumble. The officials did what they’re taught. On a close play, you let it play out so that you don’t have to come back and just give the Chiefs the ball at the spot of recovery if replay shows something different.

Because once the ball crosses the plane it’s a dead ball completing the play. Entirely different circumstances here at play.
