Today's game and the playoffs to go but the 49ers need to give Purdy the job going into next season. Lance can be the backup since Jimmy will be gone but Purdy has earned the job regardless how the postseason turns out.

Basically if he can keep his mistakes down the 9ers have a decent shot...

Fly out at 7am Monday....today is the only full day here. Yesterday was a travel day....Still had 8 hours or so here.

No he hasn’t.

Way too much draft capital invested in Lance to not give him a chance.

Purdy is basically poor man’s Garrapalo.

That is good enough to win games for a team that has an elite defense and top shelf offensive talent.

But it would be a major mistake to assume Lance sucks because of 1 game in a monsoon.

Lance can be the 9ers Jalen Hurts, capable of unlocking the offense and taking it to new heights.

Payton and the Broncos getting closer to a deal. Saints will get a future 1st and probably a mid round at least. That helps. Coaching is all the difference in the world so I think that would help Russ a ton. They have the talent. Should be interesting if Payton does come to Denver

For all you saying that coaching isn't the problem with the Raiders....just look at the Jags. Horrible with Urban and flipped their fortunes in Pederson's 1st season.

I don't think many are questioning whether or not coaching is the problem. It's just not the only problem. Only have to look at last year vs. this year.

But, as many were saying at the beginning of the season, there is more talent on other teams in the same division.

A lot of folks were saying that the Raiders could actually be a better team than last year and still finish last in their division.

The QB position is a good example...going into the season, Carr was considered a top 12 QB in the league, but the 4th best QB in the division.

Hard to say, but they basically pushed almost all of their chips into the pot in getting Wilson. They may as well add the rest to get a top coach.

Terrible comparison. Here's why.

Josh McD was NE's OC for 13 years. And he was HC in Denver for a short time. That's more than a decade coaching in the NFL.

***now here's where you should really pay attention***

Arrogant Urban had zero NFL experience of any kind. And he was replaced by a HC that spent years as a back up and won it all coaching the Eagles.

And just remember earlier this season you did try to put all the blame on Josh McD. Is he also the reason the defense wasn't good?

He's part of the problem. But not all of the problem.
