In comparison the Browns have one of the worst defenses and they have given up 326 points and are -13 overall at 6-8. The Vikings have given up 349 points and are +2 at 11-3. The other true contenders listed are PHI +143, DAL+125, BUF +135, KC +92, CIN +81

I don't consider the Vikings a true contender, I'm not sure how you can when their defense is so inconsistent. You need a consistently balanced team to win it all. Haven't checked the stats but has a team ever won the SB with one of the worst defenses. I would venture to say no.

Fucking Joe Woods scrapped his trash scheme when his job was on the line. If he'd just done that all year.....

The 2011 Giants are one off the top of my head....let me see if there are any others....

But as I stated earlier I think they could get to the SB....not necessarily win it all.

Not necessarily. He was a 2024 commit. I never take those early commits seriously. Seems like, often as not, they end up de-committing.

Could be as simple as the team he wanted to commit to but didn't because they weren't very good, improved. A few of the guys Lincoln Riley pulled out of the portal were guys who had committed to USC or wanted to but ended up going somewhere else because the coaching situation was unsettled.
Agree tough to be sure about a commit 2 years later.

Guessing someone has mentioned, but thought is he may go to Nebraska where his uncle was retained as a coach.

Just saw something recently that said the D was far better in zone than man to man. Not sure if it was here.

Likely helps we are facing some pretty bad QBs....though that didn't help earlier in season.

Of course I am facing two teams this week that had Cousins and Cook lol
Other than pulling it out such a typical fantasy game from Cousins over the years. Master of his team falling behind then going nuts in a futile attempt at a comeback.

Unreal....I am 100% certain had we done that you could go in most Browns forums and find numerous fans blaming Stefanski AND saying "no way a Belichick coached team would do that."

How's greedy been

I will watch for sure. Hope so, but I've seen many facing old team and are too jacked up and don't play well.

Just want a W.

Good point about just the W. That's really the only important thing.

This is why I've been saying for years alotta Broncos fans are only "fans" when the team is good.

Broncos had 18,423 no-shows despite tickets dropping as low as $10 (from broncoswire)

This is the same fanbase that towards the end of the regular the past several seasons local news would mention that some season tickets holders were looking to sell their game tickets.

Kind of out of LF, but....Not so good this year, that's for sure. I'm a Browns' fan, though, so if Emerson becomes a top CB and replaces him that's OK by me.

Would you believe me if his passer rating allowed was 158.3 lol

The kid has no commitment to the game. Like I believed 2 years ago.

It's a trend, every second half of the season. It's fucking pathetic. If he isn't gone in the offseason I have no hope for this team in the future.

What are your thoughts on Stefanski now a couple games in with Watson?

The fact he hasn't figured this one by now is crazy. I get new personnel every year to an extent but it does seem like the second half of each season his defense plays better. Should it take a DC 8-9 games to figure it out. I just can't put up with another season of him, there has to be better options out there this offseason.

I would say most fan bases are like that.

Forget the cost, it is a huge time investment to attend an NFL game. It is an entire day.

I think most people are less willing to make that time investment when the team is lousy.
