That’s what I was talking about when I said same outcome, different motivation.

They are trying to do the same with Alicent.

They pretty much combined her storyline with Laena’s.

I get trying to give them nuance and her misunderstanding Viserys death bed rambling gives her that.

Makes them more sympathetic than the truth, which is Aemond is a kin slaying psycho and Alicent is a usurping hypocrite.

Aegon is a rapist in the TV show and he has a litter of bastards in both.

the more I was looking at it- the more I was thinking that the Greens and Blacks could have just made Rhaneys queen- and she would honestly probably be the best out of all of them.

I think Jace would be a good king too. I think Rhanerya would also be pretty good.

Alicent is the worst. She gives the torn page to Rhanerya- not even realizing that Nymeria established that the oldest child- whether male or female would be the heir in Dorn.....which is still the case in "present day" Westeros.

But it was still completely delusional to even suggest BM would be the QB that led the Browns to the ultimate goal.

The TD pass was a horribly thrown ball to a wide open receiver turned into a catch of the year candidate by Myers.
