Thinking 10-2 and that will be enough to extend Chip since his deal is up after the season.

He needed a really good season since he had a sub .500 record before this season.

But, he needs a great recruiting class to replace the guys we'll lose off this squad, especially DTR and Charbonnet. Charbonnet has been a great runner for us.

Because the PAC isn't using divisions this year, if USC and UCLA keep winning, they could play each other in the rivalry game, then play each other 2 weeks later in the CCG.

A lot of football left and USC still plays @Utah, and UCLA still has to play @Oregon. But that could be fun.

Wife is in line in front of her is Derek Jeter, they ask him his name, with his distinct voice he responds Derek. Not one employee looked up or recognized him. My wife text me cause I was out drying off table, note to employees , tables for your customers should be wiped down after rain. Dumazzes, so I go in and there he was. I said congrats on a great career and had to tell him that I was a former SS and he did not say ‘. You’re full of shit like y’all do, lol

BTW he was with his wife and child. When me and the wife exited , he said to us, have a nice day. He is truly a freak of nature in every respect. Wife and I spoke to his family briefly. He is Just a great great great person.

I wasn't buying our defense at all, but now I'm not sure what to think.

On the one hand, they do tend to give up a lot of yards, but they're not giving up a lot of points.

They are only giving up 18.6 points per game.

At the same time, they tend to give 2 or 3 25+ yard runs per game.

It's an aggressive defense, so they are going to give up a big play here and there. Seems like they're good with that and figure they can get away with it since those runs don't seem to do any real damage.

They also have done a nice job of shutting teams down in the 2nd half.

Believe it or not, I'm actually starting to be a little more concerned about the offense.

They struggled against Oregon State and struggled for a good chunk of the game yesterday.

Our top 2 left tackles (the most important position on the o-line) have both been dealing with injuries all season. When they've had to be out, even for a few plays, it's either the 3rd string guy or someone playing out of position and that has been a problem.

If they don't get healthy or figure something out, it will cost them.

To be fair, Sarks problem has never been that he can't coach. His problem is that he can't coach while drunk.
