In baseball it's truly a manager and not a coach, managing the egos and personalities that make up the team. More about keeping the team together and pulling in one direction than actual x's and o's coaching and fundamentals, at least game to game.

Kind of agree...though seems managing egos might be more prevalent in basketball and just as prevalent in the NFL.

You can always play preseason unless it is a season long suspension i believe. Also th8 the only time he can get reps vs another team so makes a lot of sense to play him

since he did not appeal the 6 games he would be out for at least that- not start the season.

there is a scenario where a possible court case drags on- he sits out 6 games......plays the rest of the season- then gets suspended for more games next year. lol.

its just crazy.

for some reason everyone thinks they know better than a totally unbiased woman retired federal judge that had access to more information than anyone else. It is not surprising though.

Have to say while perusing the standings the AL Central gets a bad rap as the worst division (by far according to some). Is it? seems the NL Central is for sure worse. Could argue the AL West is on par, especially if you are Houston, the division leader.
