If you see it as that cut and dried, then cool, thats a reasonable take.

I see it as a 50-50 call that could easily go either way live and either way after a review (and by the way Steve Javie - who gets paid to defend the refs - said he thought it was a charge not only live but after the game again on sportscenter).

To me it feels like an overturned NFL catch that didn't have solid evidence. Even forgetting for a moment that they legally had no cause to review the play, I still think its a sketchy overturn based on the play.
Steph would like to lend you his vision goggles :D

I am not surprised what JR Smith did. LeBron is doing his best to get these wagon-riders to get into the game but maybe LBJ will finally realize that team usually beats I/me.

Good point. There's no "I" in "Team."

There is however an "I" in "Thiem."

So, if you're into tennis...

LMAO!!!!!!!

Seriously, does JR Smiff have some kind of history with Hennessey?

I'm trying to figure out how in this ridiculously-PC and easily offended world we live in today, how that video is not considered racist.

Not that I think it is offensive, but honestly, unless there's some history there, I don't see how this is any different than if they had Smiff run off to a KFC, or a watermelon stand. Frankly, I'd be more offended by this video because Hennessey sucks, but fried chicken and watermelon are fucking delicious.

Given Draymont's history, after watching the replay, I believe the hand to the face was intentional.
I'm sure you do, however we should take that with a grain of salt since you've also told us you know nothing about basketball, yes?

Skip Bayless finally talking shit about the Warriors and not about Lebron.

We're officially a dynasty now.

Welp shitty way to lose but gotta comeback for Game 2. Couldn’t have imagined a better start to the series getting a huge win. Game 2 would have been so loose for the Cavs.

There's no I in team, but there is 'me'

That's true, but I'm an expert at intentionally poking people in the face, and that's not part of basketball.

The thing about "Lebron scored 50 and they still lost".

It loses some of its weight when you scan LeBron's scoring output from these playoffs and see:

46, 44, 45, 43, 42, 44, 46
Not really because clearly in THIS game it wasn't enough.
Maybe if some of those 51 points came in OT there's a different outcome? :noidea:

There is no way he did. Get the rebound and either draw the foul OR call a timeout right there. Why do you need to dribble out. I think everyone was confused what JR was doing but Lue should have called a timeout

Actually it was enough. A sequence of crazy plays happened or this is a win. It was definitely enough, without a doubt.

Actually JR's only the 3rd person at fault in this situation tbh.

First person at fault: Steve Kerr. He told the players to take a timeout immediately after either a rebound or a make. In that situation, you put in rebounders. He did not. He left the small lineup out there and they missed the rebound.

Second person at fault: KD. Didn't box out worth shit. This honestly is becoming a theme with him. He missed a ton of these in the Houston series. His rebounding is the one aspect of his game I'm starting to get annoyed with right now.

Yeah, Love really didn't do anything wrong. But again, I'd like to see how the NBA rules on this. Because you see guys even take a foot onto the court whom are on the bench and they get suspended if there's an altercation on the court.
A rules expert on the radio today said Silver has been a lot less strict about this than Stern was. He thinks Love won't be penalized.

To point out I dont have any problem with refs getting a call wrong it happens. But on this play Lebron was near the restricted zone, he was 4 feet away lol. You make the call on the floor, whether it is right or wrong, make a decision idgaf. Reviewing that play should have NEVER happened. Plain and simple.

Game 2 it is.
