I even heard on the radio here in nyc this morning someone questioning his decision to pass it to a wide open George Hill who had an easy practice layup if Klay doesn't grab him
But his body wasn't vertical above it... his upper half was still moving to the left. His left foot was planted well ahead of time, establishing legal guarding position.

No it wasn't.
Yeah.....I was watching Undisputed and when I heard Skip say MJ would've taken that shot, I just went ahead and started playing my PS4 today. Lebron made the right basketball move. Hill's an NBA player and a solid veteran. I'd trust him on the FT line, or even making a layup under the basket.
Every single poster here makes that layup without klay deciding to intentionally foul hill because the warriors defense fell asleep
WRONG. That's the purpose of the rule. Also, if you watch Green had a foot in the restricted area, so it's possible they weren't sure whose foot that was.If the referees truly had a doubt about whether Lebron was in the restricted area, they should be relegated to 6th grade basketball. The call may or may not have been correct (I've heard both opinions from former NBA refs), but it should never have been reviewed under the rules.
If Cavs fans want to nit pick rules, watch LeBron EVERY time he shoots a FT.
By rule its a violation because he steps over the line before ball gets to rim.
No it wasn't.
51 points 8 rebounds and 8 assists isn't taking over the game apparently.
Maybe it only counts if you do it Kobe-style and go 8-39 from the field?
No, tie game you ALWAYS take the shot because you're playing with house money. LBJ DID NOT want to play another 5 min.I actually thought that JR Hill was intentionally running down the clock to go to overtime - If the Cav's had a time out left - they really should have used it - I don't think they had one left though
forget trying to explain it to this clown, you're wasting your time...
EXACTLYSo you acknowledge that the original call was bad. That it should not have been a foul on KD, and should have been a foul on LBJ.
But the CAVS got screwed because they ultimately got the call right.
O.....K.....
Sorry. I was so tanked last night. So triggered
