I even heard on the radio here in nyc this morning someone questioning his decision to pass it to a wide open George Hill who had an easy practice layup if Klay doesn't grab him

His left foot was planted well ahead of time, establishing legal guarding position.
But his body wasn't vertical above it... his upper half was still moving to the left.

There are all sorts of scenarios where having one foot planted doesn't mean jack squat with regards to whether or not a player is commiting a foul.

Yeah.....I was watching Undisputed and when I heard Skip say MJ would've taken that shot, I just went ahead and started playing my PS4 today. Lebron made the right basketball move. Hill's an NBA player and a solid veteran. I'd trust him on the FT line, or even making a layup under the basket.

If Cavs fans want to nit pick rules, watch LeBron EVERY time he shoots a FT.
By rule its a violation because he steps over the line before ball gets to rim.

LeBron to Houston, where he can be more comfortable already having a Batman on his team

Every single poster here makes that layup without klay deciding to intentionally foul hill because the warriors defense fell asleep

I think it was miscommunication between Klay and Draymond (your definition sort of fits). Klay was on Korver who was setup for a corner 3. If Lebron gets into the lane, it draws Klay into the paint and sets up for a potential 3. Draymond was out in support as a 2nd line of defense and went to far out which allowed a clear passing lane for Hill to cut to. Once Draymond went to far out, Klay had to play a 1-man zone between the perimeter and the basket.

If the referees truly had a doubt about whether Lebron was in the restricted area, they should be relegated to 6th grade basketball. The call may or may not have been correct (I've heard both opinions from former NBA refs), but it should never have been reviewed under the rules.
WRONG. That's the purpose of the rule. Also, if you watch Green had a foot in the restricted area, so it's possible they weren't sure whose foot that was.
Correct call was made which is all anyone can ask for. SMH

And Draymond had a lane violation on the missed free throw, but no one cares. That's not getting called, nor should it.

This isn't about nit picking rules. It was a rough stretch for the Cavs where several things just didn't go their way and we had a really unusual overturn. Its part of the game and it doesn't make everything the refs fault, but lets not pretend like their isn't some legitimate reason for being a bit upset.

51 points 8 rebounds and 8 assists isn't taking over the game apparently.

Maybe it only counts if you do it Kobe-style and go 8-39 from the field?

some players carry their team in the 4th quarter, other carry them in the 1st quarter

i know which one Kobe is

I actually thought that JR Hill was intentionally running down the clock to go to overtime - If the Cav's had a time out left - they really should have used it - I don't think they had one left though
No, tie game you ALWAYS take the shot because you're playing with house money. LBJ DID NOT want to play another 5 min.

forget trying to explain it to this clown, you're wasting your time... :tsk:

Yeah, I keep forgetting that he's the Skip Bayless of the board. He has some weird unhealthy obsession with the Spurs. The guy has issues.

So you acknowledge that the original call was bad. That it should not have been a foul on KD, and should have been a foul on LBJ.

But the CAVS got screwed because they ultimately got the call right.

O.....K.....
EXACTLY
