Another give away game. Something does not smell right about the way the Phillies lose!

2006. You were right.
It's disappointing, because I don't know that the Braves are that much better.

But at the same time, if this team goes 16-14 to close out the season, they improved by 20 wins over last season.

I think we all would have signed up for this on August 29th of last season in a heartbeat.

What's annoying is that many of the games in this current 7-21 run were really in the bag. I can't believe the August collapse.

Flex is to blame for some of the losing. Throwing errors has cost us some close games as well. Looking at strikes down the middle when runners are in scoring position drives me nuts.

This team def needs changes beginning with that idiot manager. We have some talent but we have a whole lot of dumpster diving products that need to be dumped-back into the dumster they were taken out of and burned. When is this team going to stop dumpster diving just to keep the dildoes alive??!!

What really set me off was Velasquez leaving 2nd too soon. Just bad prep and coaching to let a substitute runner be unprepared. Guys need to be reminded about their value as a runner in this case. Kapler needs to take his coaches to the woodshed. He is letting the players and coaches do their own thing. You gotta crack the whip with a young team, especially, I mean, kick some ass like Dallas Green would in the past.

i can't buy this 2006 stuff. coming into the year i figured the hitting would lead the way. that shit has been a disappointment. they either hit home runs or they don't score. the fielding is terrible, the pitching has been good in spurts be it the starters or the pen. outside of Nola there's no knowing what the team has there. people laid off of flex when they were winning, but shitty fielding, hitting, base running, pitching should reflect back on coaching, no? the counter would be look at their record despite that, are they over performing, under performing? shit's been frustrating recently. the thing about the late 2000s team is you expected they could come back no matter what the score was. this team you expect they're going to lose no matter what the score is.

time fore another drink.

I agree. This team just rolls over and accepts defeat. There is no fight!
