Sorry but the other thread was bugging me. I'm trying to think of times that ucla or ND lost and I didn't laugh. I mean I really had to think to see if there were any. What I came up were:
In 2003 ND lost to Syracuse, had ND won the whole LSU vs USC controversy wouldn't have happened as SC would have played in the BCS championship game, so that's one.
In 2005 ucla was undefeated 8-0 heading into their game with Arizona, USC was taking a bit of a beating for playing a cream puff schedule so a match vs an undefeated UCLA would have looked good on their resume. Unfortunately Arizona exposed ucla beating them 52-14, and ended any chance of respectability.
In hmmm, Ok I can't think of the third one, but I will keep trying. Really I'm still kind of happy about both of the above losses. I mean who can't look at a 52-14 loss by your rival and laugh.
