I think it should be A priority to aDdress #2 WR also. Vincent Jackson will be an FA and I still think Houston would trade Andre Johnson. Why does it seem like we are the only team without a 6'4" WR?

Although he wasn't very good ... Cooper's 6'4". Jordan Matthews is 6'3". If they resign Maclin I doubt they'll have any money to bring in any vet WR. Coopers un touchable as we would actually lose cap space by cutting him. I'm not a huge Josh Huff fan ... so I'd like to see them grab more of a big play / speed guy to compete for his role.

Word is that they have guys behind him that they feel confident can step in and take over. This is just from the Niner's forums I've checked out regarding Iupati. We on the other hand have old Guards and no young players behind them worth a lick. I'd LOVE to see us either get Iupati or Wisniewski from the Raidas'.

Wisniewski is likely gone in Oakland unless they franchise him which doesn't look likely. With it not being a great free agent CB market (either too old or average to below average talent), I think Iupati or Wisniewski should be at the top of their FA list. Cutting Todd Herremans saves us 5 mil in Cap space that can be used towards one of those 2. Herremans is 32 while Iupati is 27 and Wisniewski is 25.

Agree, you put Iupati on this line along with everyone else healthy and we would be one of the better OL's in the league again. I'd be happy with Wisniewski as a consolation prize though ... better Guard than Center.

Iupati is a real nice run blocker, but he struggles a good deal in pass protection.

Most wanted Gabe Carimi or Danny Watkins. Me and Swat were ready to jump on Cameron Jordan since he fell to us, but I definitely wanted Wis over Watkins or Carimi.
