Offensive side that we need to upgrade

1.Right Tackle-Polumbus sucks nuff said and is Moses the answer?
2.Right Guard-Chester old and washed up maybe Long needs playing time to see what we have
3.Center-Lichtensteiger too small gets no push
4.Left Guard-Lauvao has played ok still need an upgrade
5.Wide Receiver-wouldn't mind having a big physical guy with good hands and speed

Defensive needs

1.ILB-Riley is horrible in coverage didn't care for signing him back
2.Cornerback-Get rid of Biggers,Porter even Hall he is getting old and might not be the same with the knee
3.Strong Safety-Merriweather can lay a hit but can't cover worth crap
4.Free Safety-Clark has played well but he is getting up in age and who knows might retire after the season

Special Teams
1.Kicker-Forbath has no leg find a kicker who has accuracy and can kick through the endzone

Did anyone notice that Kai kicked off into the end zone last week? Didn't think so. They scored 4 times, with the opening kick that's 5 kickoffs. Ted Ginn had one return for 21 yards.

WTF happened to Philip Thomas???? And Biggers has been horrible his entire time here. They need 2 safeties and possibly another corner depending on the development of the other guys.

i lean to the BPA at a position of need .

i dont want to draft a cb o/lineman etc and not draft for value

when you draft for need and dont consider value you make mistakes

If its a top 5 pick, Im leaning toward trading down and picking up and additional 1st or high second round pick. That will give us 3 picks in the top 40 or so. WE can get 2 OL and a S that should be able to step in a start next year with those picks.

While I agree with you, it is a situational thing. If all of the Top 10 DBS and OL are gone when you pickat say, the 8 spot, Reaching for someone projected to be in the 12-15 range isn't the end of the world if you can't trade back. But we, like so many others picking in the Top 10, will have several glaring holes. So finding someone there that is worth the pick shouldn't be a problem. It just might not be a DB or OL, maybe a pass rusher?

Yes... A safety in the 15-20 range and 2 linemen, probably top flight interior guys with the other picks. I like that.
