I like them. Highly priced though. I'm going to win one from Omaze in May.
Gotta wait a couple or 3 years. When ever the other guys lease ends

I picked up my son from PACL (Community Living) today where he goes twice a week to play pool or darts with others.

I went for a slight detour in the AMG and ended up driving through the Canadian Tire parking lot.

At the first intersection after getting back on the road I was behind a 2018? Mustang GT. He took off on green like he stole it. But only to the next intersection and be stopped by a red light?

I came up behind him and moved to the right lane.

Light goes green and I go, He’s thinking race and gives er shit. So I punch it too and scoot away up to 140 Kph?? Then settle down for normal drive. It is a 50 zone.

I change lanes to middle lane in front of him. He switches to the right lane and comes abreast on my right.

I look over and he’s gesticulating at me to roll down the passenger window.

So I do and he comes up along side.

“Holy shit!! I’ve never seen a station wagon that fast!!”

Brent and I grinned and revelled in the moment.

Like so many other things these days, corporate lying evidently gets exposed as such the hard way.

My brother-in-laws 68 Duster. He had two 340 Swingers when he was younger but this has been his project car. It only had a slant 6 but he has put in a 318.

This car I never officially saw while at high school. But the year after.

1974 Vette with one of the last big blocks put in a Vette. The one in town was identical to this, 454, tan interior, etc. It was sitting on display in a dealer showroom. It had been sold to a local logging contractor. Can't recall the price. But he bought it and put it in his basement. Told his son (who was 1 year younger than me) that if he graduated from med school, the car was his.

Over the 6 or so years it took, the car was waxed so much it couldn't keep a blanket on it, it would just slip off. The son did get it and when he took ownership it had 150 miles on it. Mostly from photo shoots.

I'm not a Corvette guy so to speak, but I've always liked the C3's. Especially the plastic bumper '74 through '82.
Just a beautiful car even if GM quality was bottom of the barrel back then.
