I recently had an email exchange with Dodge SRT Division about the rumors of the Challenger being discontinued and the Plymouth Barracuda being brought back into production as a Dodge. I told the dufus on the other end to NOT do that. I suggested that FCA re-open Plymouth and bring the 'Cuda back as a Plymouth while they continue production on the Challenger. They liked my comments but didn't state either way what they were planning on doing. I suggested that they also bring back the Road-Runner and make the winged Daytona version available after an upgrade. I further suggested that bringing back the Barracuda as a Dodge would be the DUMBEST THING THEY COULD DO. Meanwhile, a heavily modified 1974 'Cuda is making its way around the country. Man what a car!!
Apparently the widebody Charger is killing the Challenger Hellcat Demons that were sparingly produced. Horsepower is way higher and handling is way better along with braking and just general badassery is elevated with the 2020 Widebody Charger!
