Report: Penguins acquire D Murray from Sharks


EDIT: Murray to the Pens for a 2nd in 2013 and a conditional 2nd or 3rd in 2014. Conditions being if the Pens win two playoff series this year or re-sign Murray it's a 2nd if neither happen it's a 3rd.

Same here....it's almost like 3rd round picks, but still a good deal.
I figure Clowe and Boyle go too, if they get decent offers.
I don't see the guys with no movement clauses waiving them, but maybe Wilson is gonna talk to them...

Probably not, if they dealt Boyle or pavelski I would've said fire sale. Murray was a spare part taking up cap space

Sad to see Murray traded because I always liked the dude but he really was horrible out there, especially paired with Stuart.

Not sure he can still do well in today's NHL but hopefully he does well with Pittsburgh.
