Working with that $70 million.. (IM assuming you cut Hall and Litch, and rolled over every unspent dime ot get to 70).

Kirk Year one hit I expect to be around $18-20 million.. lets shoot high and say $20M
Baker I expect to gegt a deal some where in line with what Kerrigan got, So year one $7m in cap dollars

$27M so far.

DAivs I expect to be around a $5m cap hit ($32m so far)

I dont expect JAx or Garcon to sign one year deals, SO lets say three years, with year one being $8m on each.

27 and 16 so $43 million lets burn the other $7 million as a round numbe for the resigning of guys like Ty Nsek, Sundberg, NAcho, GAllette(maybe)

So Im figuring $20 million in cap space for draft and free agents. And if we really need space, there are always deals we can rework like Norman, Wiliams, Kerigan and Reed.

This year isnt a year we we have to get it all because the cap is going to catch us.... we are in the best position of the Division cap wise even factoring in Kirks new deal.

You are a cheap skate, but we been over that. In what world do Jackson and Garcon become automatically our 3rd and 4th option though since that would mean we had a 1st and 2nd option already on the roster?? Doctson might be the Next Julio Jones, or he could be the new Malcolm Kelly. Crowders value lies with him being in the slot, so no guarantee moving him to the outside makes him capable of replacing either of these two.


Jackson played on an average of $8 million a year. His base salary was $3.75 million.... I dont think he or Garcon will get $10 million a year straight up.

But again you dont create holes simply to save a little cap space if you dont have a realistic replacement on roster.

So we should just NOT have any one else?? Or just throw a couple of cheap rookies out there?? Half the reason Reed, Crowder or any of our other targets get open is for the fact that defenses have to respect ALL our targets. So they cant simply double Reed or Crowder.

Now replace Jackson and Garcon with lower talent unproven WRs and sure.. .these guys could pan out. But seriously if its not cap prohibitive to sign them, why would you save cap space and weaken the only real strength of our team??

PG and DJ are the 3rd and 4th options on this team with the emergence of JC. We have two young WRs, one a first rounder, that we can use. I am not saying don't try to resign them; however, you let them walk at 10 mil. DJ, maybe 8. PG around 6.
