No rest for the wicked. Welcome back to Safeco! Tough turn around having to play again after traveling across the country from Baltimore home after a 4 games series.

M's: 51-31
Royals: 25-55

Expecting them to show up and buried the Royals.

June 29: Gonzales (7-5) vs Kennedy (1-7)
June 30: Hernadez (7-5) vs Hammel (2-9)
July 1: Paxton (7-2) vs Keller (2-2)

Hard to ever say this because of how much "that's just baseball" is involved in the game of baseball, but this should be a sweep. The Royals are very bad.

Astros had to put Correa on the 10 day DL today, so hopefully we can pick up a game or 2 in the coming days.

Royals pitching: Lowest WAR, Highest FIP, Highest ERA

Royals hitting: 2nd lowest WAR, lowest WRC+, Fewest Runs

Solar was their most productive hitter and he got hurt a couple weeks ago.

Also 5-19 in June and have Scored 53 Runs in 24 games.

Yeah sweep these guys

Hope for the sweep. Just need to get past the first game after spending the week on the east coast to re-adjust.

I watched it and in a way it was depressing. How in the world did that team not make a WS?

I was only 13-14 at the time but thinking back a team that consist of Jr, Edgar, Buhner, RJ all in their prime and a young A-Rod not ever reaching the WS is a real crime. It just happen the Yankees destroy the baseball teams during this era.

Looking at it like the late 90’s Sonics having to deal with MJ.

I was around the same age, the Yankees 90's dynasty didn't have anywhere near the talent the M's did. I would equate it to the 90's Sonics actually. Zero reason why any team in the Western Conference made it to the Finals besides them. They had the more talent than the Suns, Jazz or the Rockets.

George Brett is one of my all time favorite players... One of my customers is George's brother, Bobby Brett, so it's cool to hear the stories he has to share about he and his brother... George is very laid back compared to , Bobby... I've only met George once and he's definitely a laid back guy but you wouldn't know that after watching the pine tar incident...

Bobby owns the WHL, Spokane Chiefs franchise over here in Spokane...

Just curious, why does a guy who makes the least contact (K-Nino) take so many first pitch fastballs down the middle? As I write this, he just took a second fastball down the middle.

Then he homers to the upper deck. Question asked; Question answered.

:thumb:This is the kind of play I like to see the M's have. Instead of runs on the bombs, they play small ball and move the runners around on base hits. Shows they can do it effectively.
