Series Thread: M's Vs. Jays: August 2nd - 5th

Just finished the yard work before it gets too hot out there. Suppose to get "hot" again this coming week for a few days- hate the yard work when it's over 80 degrees. Guess that makes me a pansy ass or something. Gonna go to Papa Murphy's to pick up a pizza for our dinner and a half rack of bud light for me to (maybe) watch the M's perform once again. It would just figure if we got swept in this series with the Jays. I think the Toronto fans make more noise than the M's fans.

Eovaldi in his second start for Red Sox (a guy M's should have traded for) throws 7 more shutouts innings so far. Ug!

He went back out and threw another shutout inning in the 8th...lol.

Yes, Tampa traded him about 10 days ago for a nobody prospect. M's were too busy looking for a subpar hitting CF and 10 relievers.

Welcome back and nothing has changed...I mean over the last 41 Mariner seasons.

Nice to be back. Considering that every game was in the middle of the night, it wasn't practical to watch them. 9 hours ahead of Seattle time. I'm still doing my best to re-adjust. Had to wake up at 3:45am in Kosovo to fly out at roughly 7am. Flew from Kosovo to Vienna, Vienna to New York, New York to Seattle. Had layovers between them all. Spent five hours in New York. I'm forcing myself to stay up right now.

I didn't make a huge deal out of it. It's a long story, but I took a position in Kosovo and was forced to resign. Was there for around two months and didn't open my computer because I was so busy. Left in late May, returned now.

If you're planning on staying up for the game I sure the hell hope it's worth your time. Something tells me though that you won't be very sleepy if you watch the game cuz your adrenaline will be pumping watching the M's perform.

Well Lineman16- Angie's hair is getting back somewhat to normal now. Not sure why she "flipped" out on us but glad things are getting "straightened" out now.

Any Papa Murphy's Pizza fans out there? We just polished off one GREAT BBQ Chicken with xtra sauce and it was sooooo good. Highly recommend it if you haven't tried it b4- 2 thumbs up
