You have a GM who acquired 3 situational relievers and manager who doesn't use his relievers situationally. So either there is a disconnect between GM and Manager or arrogance to justify what looks like a poor contract.

It has to be a I can't admit a mistake. Just think about, if Felix does get sent to the pen they will almost $40 million tied up in long relief pitchers. Nicassio should never see another meaningful situation again unless every single guy (outside Diaz) either gets hurt or pulls a Nicassio/Ayala.
