Jorge Polanco, out of the lineup again today, is testing out his hamstring with a trainer here pregame. Doesn’t sound like he’ll be available this series in Baltimore, and team will have to make a decision soon on a potential IL stint.
J.P. Crawford has some inflammation in his hand/wrist and is getting treatment back in Seattle. Servais is hopeful Crawford will join the team “at some point” on this East Coast trip.
Gregory Santos said he was throwing at 90 feet today, with a target of throwing his first true bullpen session by June ... He said the setback he experienced recently was related to inflammation.
4-6 could be a real favorable outcome by the time they touchdown in Seattle in a week and a half.
If they surrender the division to either the Astros or Rangers, 0 chance of playoffs. There will be a few 90+ win wildcard teams from the American League and none of them will be the Seattle Mariners.
Can’t give it a F. At worst you can give is C. It can only be an F with the caveat that this team should be an A+++ with just a little effort from the FO.
I am noticing Baltimore hitters are very disciplined at not swinging at pitches off the plate
and I also noticed that rarely do they ever swing and miss at a pitch. they’re always making some kind of contact typically ( foul - hit or in play out )
