Have the posters who say we are too negative and this team is great! Disappeared?

Another year of missed post season and nothing will happen to anyone running the team. Because they just don't care as long as they are making profits.

Honestly the way the Astros are playing getting wins over way harder opponents they are much more deserving of the division lead over the Mariners getting beaten everyday by the Tigers. We were an error in the 9th inning away from getting swept by them last series.

On a personal note, my brother brought me back a box of items I had in his garage. I found old Mariners and Seahawks ticket stubs from the 80's, old schedules including a team picture from the 1995 team for the 1996 schedule (pretty cool), a 2001 Mariners sticker (I heard that was a good year) and 7 baseballs from various spring training practices with several autographs. The problem with the autographs is I can't read 99% other signatures. I did see a Jack Zduriencik and Don Wakamatsu and John Wetteland. I wish I knew the rest of them. Man they have bad penmanship.

I had to look for a silver lining for the week.

I just found these a couple of days ago; I know most Mariner fans say they were at this game, but I knew my dad and I were there when I was 9.

i let myself believe a couple times this season early on, but come on, there was no way pitching would continue to be historically good enough to make up for a bad offense. i stopped paying close attention when they were still 7 games up because it was clear what was going to happen. wise decision for me emotionally. i feel like .500 is a lofty goal at this point by the end of the season, and i wouldn't be surprised to see the m's finish 3rd in the division.

what i wouldn't fucking give to be a fan of a baseball team that could make the post season more than once every 20 years. it must be nice being a fan of pretty much any other franchise comparatively.

Mariners don't get respect because they haven't done anything worth receiving respect. Unless failure is a form of earning respect, they deserve none.

This f*ing team. I hope Stanton and Co. realize if they don’t do some changes in a couple of years it’s going to be to the early 90’s when fans showed up for opening day then in July and half of August once the Sonics and back. In the city they are already 3rd right now behind the Hawks and Mutts training camps.
