Fits in pretty well with the MarinersCano has become a very irritating player to watch.
TO TAKE THE LEADRallied back to tie it, ah?
But there's still plenty of game left...
Theres the lead, which is something I wasnt excepting with how shitty this game startedRangers are giving the M's a ton of chances to take the lead and win. Still tied
4 errors 2 balk. Insane.
I thought the last balk was kinda ticky tacky... if what they're saying is true about how that was Claudio's regular motion.
I've got to say it, Felix looks out of shape and doesn't look like he really even cares anymore. It's a sad sight.
Good start, need one more and that's another series win....Though it would be nice for a sweep....
These 'comeback games" are happening a little more and more, could pay off come September...
This team has deserved every gripe and lack of confidence that these boards have posted this year, but you can't deny the grit that this team has shown over that same amount of time. I will say that it's the young guys that have led the charge, but it was good to see Robbie come through. The heart of this lineup needs to step up their game for the stretch run.
I thought the same thing about his conditioning when they just showed a close up of him on the mound.
The other thing that has always bothered me about Felix (I think I have mentioned it on here before) is that I never can understand an elite player wanting to continue playing for a perennial losing team. It is as if he is comfortable with his environment and that always bothers me with elite athletes. Every player wants to win, winners go the extra mile to make sure they win. Cano is the most talented, but doesn't go to the next level to win in my opinion. Then you take a guy like Heredia who is limited in talent, but does everything he can to try and win. Watch him out of the box. No matter what kind of contact he puts his head down and runs like mad to 1B. In the field he will run through walls while Cano won't bend over and reach to his side for a ball on the ground. Very talented though, not necessarily a winner.

O'Neill has 3 HRs and 12 RBI in 9 games since coming over from Seattle. He has 8 RBI in his last 10 ABs!
Cano's lackluster base running doesn't really bother me. A lot of times when he jogs to first, he's already out by a mile. I appreciate the hustle from guys like Heredia, but that's just not Cano's game.
