I loved what the Mets did. Loved it at the time and still love it. They got 2 great baseball players. Not superstars, but great baseball players. I could only imagine those two in our lineup.

Don't worry, today is an "exciting match up" as Goldsmith and Blowers must have told us 6-7 times yesterday. with 1-4 Marco Gonzales pitching for the Mariners who have scored 1 run all series. I know I'll be on the edge of my seat all game for this exciting match up!

Can't get too excited by the previous year's performance, especially when they beat their Pythagorean record by 14 wins. Mariners have only had two seasons (2014, 2016) when their Pythagorean record was over .500, since 2003.

In six season with the Mariners, Haniger has been in 452 games and missed 293. Roughly, he is getting into about 61% of the games. Might be something to consider when his agent asks for a 3 year/$65 million contract for his 32-year-old client this fall.
