I think that has to be the biggest bullshit I've seen from review.
The As got fucked over pretty hard on something similar a few years back, but if you notice on the replay the yellow padding doesnt move at, plus if it did the ball isnt bouncing back onto the field like that, just an absolute fucking joke.

Good job Scotty fighting for your team. That was a fucking HR if I ever saw one.

The call was bullshit, but what does a manager going off on guys who don't have control over the call have to do with it?

Yeah, that's true. Didn't think about NY making that call. Either way, was a bullshit call and we all could see that.

I hope this game gets over in time for me to turn on the draft and watch the Hawks trade their 1st pick 3 times.

A pitch-out with 2 outs in the 9th up one with runner on 1B with a pitcher who has been struggling to throw strikes...but ends up striking out final out on full count. Mariners baseball...

A total Servais move for sure, nice to see Diaz get it done.

Agree, it would look stupid for Servais to go off on any umpire regardless if it is the umps fault or not. He doesn't have the personality for the players to take him seriously. Generally a manager tries to get kicked out to either show his players he has their back, it's a crappy game or he is trying to give the crowd a spark.

First of all, I'm just in awe at how incompetent MLB can be. The Homerun seemed obvious and at the very least should have been a call stands kind of thing.

Second of all Servais needs to nut up and let Paxton pitch the 7th there. The HR to Alonso was a towering flyball that isn't even a HR at Safeco. He wasn't exactly laboring and we cant live on expecting 3+ innings from the pen every night. So when your "ACE" is on the mound have a little longer of a leash.

Lastly stop using Scrabble in any kind of meaningful moment. Exactly how man times due we need to get burned there before we figure it out. Pazos> Scrabble right now and that's not really a hot take, its pretty obvious.

I have been pretty hard on him for the last year but he came through big yesterday so props to him. Rarely do you see him have power the other way like that so it was refreshing.

I didn't understand why a pitch out was called and I still don't get it. Pick off the guy going to 2nd? Just get the out at the plate and game over. Made no sense to me at all.

He's a pro making a lot of money... He should have a day like this... See Zunino...
it's not just a day. He is the official whipping boy of this board. I see a lot of comments about him leaving runners on and not delivering, but he is batting .348 with RISP

Maybe, but hitting with RISP is probably one of my least favorite stats so I don't really track it. ROOT quotes it like its the gospel and it makes my skin crawl. Hitting with RISP isn't a skill, HITTING is a skill.

Regarding Seagar, he is coming off a pretty damn subpar year and two of the last three haven't been good. Thats why I get annoyed when people automatically give him a pass in April. His career numbers are worse in September as oppose to April. Defense and range also seems to be worsening. I'm really hoping he can be at least a 4 WAR player this year but I'm not hopeful.

So when your "ACE" is on the mound have a little longer of a leash.

I don't know if you read the comments by Servais, but he said the home run played a part because, "They were stressful pitches in that AB". I have never understood how a pitch in a tight situation is more physically demanding than a pitch at any of time. Played sports my whole life and never was I more tired based on the situation of the game.
