I may be alone in this thought, but I now believe I would rather have two stud relievers than hitters at the deadline.

Not sure of one reliever will do it anymore. I mean I know we need two of each, but I would almost prioritize reliever over bat right now. These junk pickup guys are terrible.

If Muni can come back healthy adding one more would be enough. The entire pen isn't bad.

It kind of is. I can't name one pen arm I want facing a playoff team in the playoffs. Munoz and his back are no sure thing. Stanek is just above average to me. I guess you have more faith in this Kmart special pen than I do.

There's a better chance that some of these younger kids getting AB's improve this team than any call up pitchers, but they need help on both.

I also believe we will get Polanco back and see France etc no matter how well those kids are playing. I have no faith in this coaching staff.

I know what you meant. I was saying they have a better chance of adding from within on batting than pitching so I get why you want to make pitching trades a higher priority.

I still just circle back to how historically bad this batting lineup is and how much worse again it will get when Polanco and France are back in the daily lineup.

A win is a win is a win for sure. But damn it'd be nice to get a blow out win every once in awhile. Especially against a team like the Sox.

Yet another starter with an ERA of 6 that just dominates this offense.

I guess they remind me of some of the bad teams we had in the past that were HR or bust that always lost a bunch of games. The only real difference is they have much better pitching than those teams. Might explain why I'm so convinced they would get destroyed in the playoffs with this lineup.

With the lineup the way it is....raley.and Rojas..are not everyday..
