Man this has been the most frustrating series for me to watch this whole season. You are at home facing a team almost 10 games under .500 with the division lead on the line and we are about to get swept.
"The most frustrating series for you to watch" so far. Expect a lot more of this, we aren't going to see firings any time soon.Man this has been the most frustrating series for me to watch this whole season. Frustrating …
Agreed ..I'm ..really .Yeah, it’s pretty sad baseball to watch these days
I’m just getting that nagging feeling that the season is slipping away from us.
the past week or so and the upcoming one to two weeks will really make or break the entire 2024 season.
If they don’t turn it around and turn it around really quick they’re just gonna drift so many games back from Houston that they will never catch up and be fighting for the division lead.
and their ain’t a chance in hell they’re gonna leapfrog half a dozen or more better teams than themselves to get into a wildcard spot.
If they don’t pull out of win tonight against Detroit and take two or three from New York this weekend, I just don’t see them playing postseason baseball
It’s just simply time to put up or shut up. The players we have must perform better. the team is who Jerry put together, and that’s who we have to roll with.
It’s sad that we’re relying so heavily on both Julio and JP Crawford to come back to help out the ball club win.
the true reality is you could combine both of those players stats home runs RBIs and such that it pretty much equals One stud player from another team. Simply due to both of them being so overwhelmingly subpar for the first half of the season.
Not that they .have a choice..It does not matter..
Anyway ..to go to the playoffs..
Then get ..
Thrown out by the royals..
Or twins..
Yeah let Astros get embarrassed....like that.
Problem is who did they have to sell? Any pitcher sold would have to been replaced next year. No hitters were wanted by other teams. I don't mind Arozarena because he will play next year though he is no better than what we have as it turns out. Turner will be gone, but didn't cost much. I hope they keep Yimi.Exactly why I said the M's should be sellers. Adding Arozarena and Turner didn't even come close to fixing all the holes on this team. Majority of the roster needs an overhaul.
Yep. Against Skubal that was a definite concern. At least they didn't strikeout 20 times.
The Angels?Man this has been the most frustrating series for me to watch this whole season. You are at home facing a team almost 10 games under .500 with the division lead on the line and we are about to get swept.
Arosarena..is what the mariners..have needed..Problem is who did they have to sell? Any pitcher sold would have to been replaced next year. No hitters were wanted by other teams. I agree with your thought, but we are so bad we just didn't have the ability to trade away. Plus, you don't want the architect of this mess making more deals.
So you look to your..farm..Arosarena..is what the mariners..have needed..
As was Rojas..
In that deal..
Turner seems..a rental..
Yeah ok..
Chargois..is a good guy as..
Well..
They are working toward..
A better..team..
Its just frustrating..
And..cuz they are in a.good.
Position..
To playoffs..
But they needed a full.time.
LF and arosarena..is that.
And he has gotten a hit..
Almost every game sense.
He has been here..
And
Is good for canzone to.
Platoon with..
And that comes to the problems..
Right when..they traded..
All.of a sudden...
Crawford and Julio..out.
They add 2..but 2 are out..
Same ole same..ole.
They needed.to get better.
But have not...in time..
To make a diff..
So far..
I'd have traded Castillo and Munoz. Closers are always replaceable, and if we're being honest Castillo has been our 3rd/4th best starter this year, and he'd be 4th easily if Woo wasn't injured most of the year.Problem is who did they have to sell? Agreed...but they are closer.I'd have traded Castillo and Munoz. Closers are always replaceable, and if we're being honest Castillo has been our 3rd/4th best starter this year, and he'd be 4th easily if Woo wasn't injured most of the year.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset with the trades the Mariners made. Just being realistic that they don't come close to fixing this team.
