Gilbert seems to have great stuff when he trusts it, at times he seems to get scared of getting rocked and starts to nibble outside a little too much and it makes him throw a lot of pitches. when he gets more confidence he could be really good.

I think you nailed it. His first few starts I complained about lack of movement and now thinking back it looked like he was aiming it. The last couple starts it looks like he has just let it go. Great point.
