I wanted to post this the other day, but tonight seems to be an even better night to say it; I love seeing Crawford take it the other way. Nothing prettier to me then the ball coming off his bat when he does that. If Kelenic, Trammell, and Fraley can learn that, I would actually be happy and that isn't easy for me.

I don't know why I didn't know this, but Seager isn't a free agent at the end of the year. I didn't realize they had a team option on him. So doubt he is traded next month.

Yea IIRC the option is basically a poison pill if traded as it would turn into a team option. Regardless pick up option or resign to a different deal, you wont a replacement in the system or a better value on the market at 3rd the next couple years. Have him be what Ryan Zimmerman is to the Nats.

Crawford I am thinking is trending towards being a keeper. Elite defense at a position that calls for it and the bat has come around. He wont be an allstar or anything but I think he is trending towards a complimentary piece.

Kelenic idk man, Blowers mentioned on the broadcast how he gets that one hittable pitch each AB and just isnt always putting a good swing on it. Also its clear by the body language he is in his own head at this point. Not sure if going back to Tacoma is the solution or not.

Fraley I see some traits where he could be a solid 4th OF, Trammell not sure yet.

Ya I always knew about the player option if traded, but didn't know (old memory so I might have and forgot) they held a team option for $15M. That will be an interesting decision.

And just our luck (well not that we would spend the money), but the big free agents next year are SS. Crawford deserves huge credit for changing his approach and succeeding with it. Too many stubborn hitters won't.

Dude for real. Guys only a few at bats away from dropping below .100. There shouldn't even be a debate. Send him down so he can get his confidence back. M's are on track to ruin yet another promising bat. Also there's gotta be someone out there that's a better hitting coach than Tim fucking Laker.

Don't forget that this is Jerry and Scotty's awesome decision making at it's finest. It's a Marniner's thing. It would be expecting too much for them to have a competent hitting coach.

PS: It really pisses me off what they are doing to Jarred. Almost as bad as what they did to Z. Zunino was killing it at Tacoma and they played musical chairs with him and I hope they don't screw up Kelenic the same way.

I'm not sure why it bugs me so much, but I'm tired of hearing "Exit Velo" over and over again. A home run is a home run and I don't give a crap how "fast" the ball was traveling. Just my pet peeve is all.
