He couldn't put any pressure on it at all. 100% off the ground, both arms over shoulders of two guys while being walked off the field.
Not sure if it was the actual hit off the knee area, or the way he went down. Announcers said it looked like he might have strained while turning going to the ground. That could be VERY bad.

If you look at that frame by frame it almost looks like it hits him in both kneecaps

I think I'll be voting a bunch of times for JP to go to the AS game. He's strong defensively and has been solid offensively.

Oh well, guess it's time to watch Ben, Little Joe, Hoss, and a few Bonanza re-runs. :D

Diners, drive-ins, and dives here. Pretty much anything is better than this crap.
That guy (Guy) got a 3 year/$80M deal. He is paid more than any Mariner...and I am guess he deserves it more.

I'm not sure why it bugs me so much, but I'm tired of hearing "Exit Velo" over and over again. A home run is a home run and I don't give a crap how "fast" the ball was traveling. Just my pet peeve is all. :heh:
We are getting dangerously close to the on deck circle being no bats just protractors, squares and levels.

The kelenic situation is reaching code red already. He’s approaching a record for most consecutive hitless ABs. I don’t think it’s smart to let him challenge that

Agree 100%

No doubt they are near DefCon-1 as we speak. Tomorrow is a day off prior to the trip back east for DET and CLE. I think he stays in Seattle and the team flies out east without him.

ASB in a few weeks and 18 of our next 24 games are at home. If he goes OH'fer in todays game, you gotta send him to Tacoma till post ASB at the minimum. He is a mess right now and the only fix for what he has got is AAA cookies over the middle of the plate.

And when he is called back up ... sit him against all lefties until he regains his confidence as a hitter. The entire league already knows he waves thru all lefty curve balls.

Not in the lineup today is good. May pave the way to an option down tomorrow

Someone was wrong or didn’t do their job properly. And I’m not talking about kelenic

They made a big point that he was on a specific plan and had to pass tests. So however they thought they prepared him, it didn’t work

Having him up here hitting under .100 isn’t fair to anybody

I said it a couple weeks back that Gilbert needed movement on pitches because he wasn't missing bats. The last couple of starts including today he has been missing bats and movement has improved. Nice to see. I still see Freddy Garcia in him.

Lol if they can’t hold this lead. Heaven forbid there’s an easy win once in a while

I see a lot of Freddy Garcia in Gilbert. What do you think?

The slider is gonna be a nasty plus pitch once he gets consistent with it. Saw some good things today with it
