TE, Zach miller. Also hoped to see him more in the passing game but he's always needed to block. Ow well hopefully this is the year.:suds:

I think Kearse could have a huge year coming up. He doesn't get thrown at that much but he's usually money when they do.

And many of our Special Teams guys are very under-rated too. Didn't we nearly set a record last season for the fewest return yards allowed on kicks of all time? I think we were on pace with only 2 or 3 games to go.

Went and checked and the ST on punt returns was insanely good.

Here is from an article written Dec 12, so that means probably with only 3 games to go in the season:

"The Seahawks have allowed only 15 punt-return yards this season, and none since Oct. 28. The secret to their success may surprise you"

Seahawks poised to break one of NFL’s oldest, most obscure records | Seahawks | The Seattle Times

Amazing, I knew the ST unit was good, but like you said...that is insanely good. Kind of scares me, is it possible to repeat that kind of performance?

Steven Hauschka...33 FG's on 35 attempts...teams kill to have solid FG kickers, and we have one.

Yup, and he's smart too. It took big hairy balls to back away from that kick in the NFCC game when we were down by 4 late in the game. Most kickers would have just went for it, but Hauschka knew it was a questionable distance for him and let the coaches know it.

I think J. Kearse will have a 60+ REC year this coming season. So he fits into this thread also, he doesn't get enough credit for what he did last season. 22 rec last season but he wasn't a full time player till halfway through the season when Sidney Rice went down and he played better than Rice did. Well at least i feel he did so that's just my opinion.

For this upcoming season I will say it's going to be Luke Willson

I think he's going to be a major weapon for Russell as he continues to improve and learn the game

Luke has good hands and size and isn't afraid to mix it up, but his running speed is glacial...

Judging by a thread posted in the general forum, Im gonna say Russel Wilson is our most under rated weapon, lol...:laugh3:

Was that the one Jon Ryan was hurt for and they ran it back for a TD before half time?

No that didn't count as he was not the one kicking, I know he got one blocked against the Colts. And he missed one against AZ at home which hit the bar. (I think it would have tie or won the game, it was heartbreaking)

:wtf2:

Luke Willson ran the 40 yard dash in 4.47 and 4.54, how is that Glacial? All you have to do is watch other big men run and some times the big guys do not look as fast as they really are. I remember watching Elway run and thinking "why can't anyone catch that lumbering fool" Why? because he was faster than he looked.

Yeah Luke Willson's combine numbers are actually pretty impressive.

6'5 runs a 4.51 40 time, 38 inch vert, benched 23 reps, good shuttle, broad and cone drill too. If he can block better/more consistently he'll be our starting tight end by 2015-2016.

I think the transition from Beast to Michael will give Turbo a huge opportunity this year, and I think he will tear it up when given the chance IMO!

Go Hawks!!!
