Thanks. I appreciate the kind words. Right back atcha! OH, I know it will ALWAYS be the most meaningful game emotionally to Ohio State fans. I get that! I'm just trying to think outside the box about more meaningful games for others like me watching Ohio State who don't really care about the rivalry. I mean, I want OSU to win because I live in Ohio, but I don't cry if they lose. Come to think about it, the Buckeyes have only lost TWICE to that team up north since I moved to Ohio in 2002! lol.
Who won?It was one of, if not the most watched CFB games this year (can't remember if Bama-Georgia ended up overtaking it), and it was on Fox... Nobody watches Fox CFB.
Obviously, plenty of people still are interested in the game.
BastardI came in 2004 as a Freshman from Virginia. Can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have only had to stomach one loss? When you think back over the decades how much heart ache fans have had to go through with all the back and fourth years, all the lopsided years on the losing side? And I came into this life to have gone 13-1 when I came here? I still pinch myself.
That’s ok I’ll stick to my way of saying it. Rivals for life yo.Round here, this is said a little differently.
It’s called “never go full OD”.
Y’all learning why.
Suck it.Bastard
Only an Oregon fan would consider the 90s leather helmet days.
It's definitely lost its luster in the Saban Era. Only 2 of the games have been close. Ironically, they were National Championship years for the Tide. In 2009, Alabama had to block a FG to win 12-10, and in 2015, they won 19-14. Both in Tuscaloosa. Meanwhile, he pulverizes the Big Orange in Neyland! However, like the Ohio State fans will never tire of beating Michigan like a rented mule, the same is true for Alabama fans with Tennessee. Nobody else cares anymore though. That's a fact!I'd go Bama - Tennessee.
How often has that game been within 2 scores in the Saban era?
The Illinois-Purdue rivalry game is currently tied 44-44-6 all time
That’s when uncy Phil decided your program was worth throwing money at, maybe, but we won the 90s, like every other decade before the dark ages.I said last quarter century
It all began here...
Ohio State vs Michigan.
Sure it's a big deal to those two teams, but for the rest of us in the college football world, this is an overrated rivalry. Even the "big" games turn out to be duds, or just boring Big Ten football type football.
Anyone remember the real big game between the two in like 2005? Where it was a night game #1 vs #2. I was asleep by halftime.
Let's try to keep this rivalry regional to those this means a lot. Please stop trying to tell us how great of a rivalry this is.

I've seen that twice in Champaign! I'm not a big fan of white people dressing up like Native Americans, but it was kind of cool to see Chief Illiniwek do his thang!Illinois has the most underrated fight songs ever and PC crowd thus taketh it away. It’s criminal this will never be played in a college stadium again.

Looking forward to seeing how Millen handles it doing the Husky talk radio stuff he does. Think this was the last year for a while he gets to express his Oregon hate.God bless Uncle Phil
On another note, how weird is it that the sons of Hugh Millen and conversely Alex Molden playing for ‘the enemy’? I was shocked by both commitments I must say lol.
